| This frog does not belong to me, it belongs to my friend who does not collect but loves it as a childhood toy. We are both interested in the brand and true species if at all possible! Any information you have is helpful. It’s hard to see, but the underside says “Made in Chica” and “Little Grass”. It was probably produced sometime in the late 90s/early 2000s. | We see these models with a hole sometimes. The hole is too small for it to be a pen-topper, so it would be interesting if somebody knows more about it |

| Species is quite easy once it is identified. It is a little grass frog (Pseudacris ocularis), the smallest frog species of North America. So, one more indicator to identify it as belonging to a North American company. |

| It reminds me of the amphibians and reptiles by JARU but it doesn't have the JARU logo on it _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | Its a lovely figure, and by coincidence I found this model today but painted differently. I will upload photos for comparison shortly. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | This is my example. Same as the one pictured, but different paint job. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Oh wow! This model looks much nicer. Is it possible that the model you have is the original and the one I showed is a copy? _________________ Always looking for new species

| That's why I decided to add him to your thread. The pinkish one could be a copy, but mine is made from the same yellow plastic... so perhaps this product was just changed slightly over the years paintwise? Made simpler variations of the same thing, or made a series to sell together that had some variety (souvenir perhaps?). Mine is a simplified red eyed tree frog (no blue on his sides), so I would guess a variation or copy.
I just thought it was crazy I came across one similar the day after I read your topic. :) _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Does yours have the same text on the bottom or is it something different? It is amazing the chances of your discovery! _________________ Always looking for new species
