| Some models from my holidays. Not a lot of toyshops in the place I went so am happy with what I managed to find! Some nicely made in China copies [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The Papo Cheetah,a rather good copy of the Collect A Water Buffalo, and a Spanish bull-found these on a day trip to a neighbouring town in a tiny toyshop and sadly only one model of each as would have gotten others to trade! The Water Buffalo is from an importer called Nugar in Eindhoven and the Spanish bull is from an importer called Toinsa in Madrid. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]All these large Nayab models-again from Toinsa-I found in a small supermarket in the centre of the town!I went in to but a drink and walked down an aisle to the checkout and passed a tiny toy section with a box of model animals and the Capybara caught my eye and when I looked in the box I found the rest!and sadly again only one model of each animal! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The Nayab animals have either an English name or Latin name underneath so there is Spotted skunk American badger-a rather blue one! Raccoon Capybara The mongoose looking animal has Suncus murinus-Asian house shrew!!!!!!!!!!! Beaver Giant Armadillo Bradypodidea-Three toed sloth |

| I love the armadillo best but all of them are wonderful! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | The Nayabs are interesting concerning their size. Maybe we have now some more figurines for the TAW. I´m especially interested what Roger thinks about those critters. The latin name of the mangoose/marten-like figurine is funny I have this figurine, too and I´m not sure about the species. But I´m sure that it doesn´t present a shrew |

| What's the likelihood that you found that armadillo, as I had a dream last night about this figure (it looked identical) even though I'd never seen it before They are truly great additions, and now I want the genet and armadillo ! _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | Bravo Taylor! You can find new figures everywhere, including tiendas. :) We will need for TAW, pictures of the Nayab extralarge skunk, armadillo, mongoose, capybara and if possible also the badger, yours is an interesting variant. I wished the mongoose was a house shrew instead but I will probably list it just as a dwarf mongoose. |

| Taylor, I already entered them at the wiki but I'd love to know exactly what is marked in that armadillo and badger. I have the info from another collector that the badger is marked as an European badger although he got it from a North American polybag. About the armadillo, is it specifying it is a giant? |

| Hi Roger, The badger has American badger on the underside and the armadillo has Priodontes maximus on the underside. |

| Thanks Taylor, I was wrong about the badger being marked as an European badger. It is the Wild Republic version, from a North American set, that is painted exactly like an European badger although it is marked American badger as yours. My confusion is maybe also because the lynx of that polybag is marked with the scientific name of the Eurasian lynx. Thanks also for telling what is marked on armadillo, now I understand the giant thing. |
