| I recently acquired this cow and fish eagle, too! Also, I got the stag beetle. In case you are wondering, Megaptera, Papo did correct the head on it for final production! So, it's good! It will be my next ATB Blog review in the next week or so. |

| Lovely new additions! Congrats! The fish almost looks salmon-like to me but that shouldn't be right... _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Thank you very much, Saarlooswolfhound I'm still searching for a proper species for the fish. |

| To me the upper jaw looks hooked like in a spawning salmon (wrong color obviously). I don't know of any African fish species that is similar. So maybe it is intended to be an ocean-going variant of a salmon or similar fish? Thats my only guess and a poor one at that. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Is not modeled after a species of fish. It's a "generic fish". The colour would be not so wrong for a salmon, but it doesn't intend to be a salmon. I also think that the mandibles doesn't intend to be hooked. _________________ My collection:- (Details):

I realize the fish is the result of a generic placeholder, as discusses elsewhere on forum. But I was describing what it could pass as to my eyes (as I don't have this model yet). My commentary was just my perception, not fact. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Thank you everyone for your guesses. I also couldn't find a proper species. Too bad, they could have used a real species. That would be amazing, like in the case of the Southlands eagle. |

| After a long time, I've got a new model. I decided to take the new Papo Stag Beetle, because it's much smaller than the one from CollectA. But the details are very interesting and accurate. So, this Beetle gives more space again |

So, this Beetle gives more space again Glad you went for it! I think it's very well done. I have the great tit enroute to me, and then that will be the last of Papo 2022 for me :) |

| I was waiting for a picture. It is really a beautiful model and naturally the pvc material looks realistic when used to replicate this kind of animals. |
