| Today i had a box in, with some different items from Hausser Elastolin, a zoo-enclosure for predators, which i had in my youth to, so i had to get it, not cheap by the way... Next to that, 2 Preiser Elastolin animals, one mint and boxed, the gazelle that looks from the shape like an impala, but has some colouration of a Thompsons gazelle to... The second one was the Preiser Cape buffalo, another great gem to have! :) The last thing in the mailbox was a bison, made by toyway England, the company that took over Timpo Toys Scotland in the late 1980's. So this animal, that passed my eyes hundreds of times, finally went to my collection, new with tag. 6592 Hausser Elastolin "Raubtierhaus" no.1. There are several enclosures and zoo's from this brand in the 1970's, and the chance is there, that i will get some more... 47539 Preiser Elastolin Gazelle, whatever species this must be, a great model! Here to compare with the Treehouse Kids Impala And here with the Noahs Pals Impala 47540 Preiser Elastolins Cape Buffalo Here with the bigger Schleich model And here with the Lineol model in composition 90208 Toyway Timpo Bison, slightly smaller then the Schleich model New with tag... All together a great day for collecting today, with some great models! _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Congratulation Willy. I know it is something magic to find again the toys we had when we were younger, I'm very happy for you... So much good feelings and dreams inside that little box The Preiser gazelle and buffalo are excellent models The Timpo toyway looks a lot like a Nayab bison, isn't it ? |

| Oh, My, G.... What fantastic gems you got there, Willy These old cages are so fascinating. I can clearly remember how it felt playing with that kind of toys, only mine were from Reisler. We did not call them cages, though, they were "homes", and of course the animals only used them to sleep in at night. The gazelle and buffalo are small wonders and the bison for once has the real shape of a bison CONGRATULATIONS |

| Thank you Susanne, Harriet and Christophe! Yes, Christophe, Toyway(Timpo) used exactly the same mould as Nayab did, although i don't have that model. These Preisers were some i still needed, and must haves in my eyes, but what isn't haha The Hausser elastolin Zoo Enclosure is priceless for me indeed, and i know a few more to find now, so this group will grow i guess. I saw those Reisler enclosures on the site of Tohan Susanne, they are wonderfull, and very rare now i think, i just love them. By the way, did anybody of you see this zoo-encosure? If you have some money to spend, just do it now! Why should you buy a new car if you can buy something like this???!!! http://www.figuren-journal.com/dIUsQQk5lSBupseA9smnDDuNnnpV2D/Index.cgi?action=shop&shop=saleslist&saleslist=detail&id=73975&page=2&keywords=&category=ACC&maker=&material=&scale=&seller=&status=all _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman
