| Today i had a long awaited lot coming in, with 11 Hausser Elastolin figurines, from the 1930's to the 1980's, in 3 different materials, composition, softer plastic and hard plastic. Here are my 5 new additions in composition. Sorry for the dark pics, my cell phone can't make better ones... Hausser Elastolin Barbary monkee, model 6250 in the 1939/1940 catalogue. Hausser Elastolin Brown Bear cub, model 6250 in the 1939/1940 catalogue. Hausser Elastolin European Badger. Hausser Elastolin Lion And last, but not least, the wonderfull Hausser Elastolin Orang Utan in perfect condition! I saw this model in Christophes collection to, but an older one, made by Tipple Topple, which was bought by the Hausser company later on, so they continues this model afterwards. _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Subject: A Hausser Elastolin Lot came in for July 2011... Sat Jul 09, 2011 2:21 pm | |
| I had a lot of 11 pieces from the Hausser Elastolin company coming in today... Five in composition, 3 in the so called soft-plastic, and 3 in the hard-plastic. I showed the composition figurines in that section on the forum, so here is the rest. First the soft plastic models, scale 1:32. The complete lot. 5338 Hausser Elastolin Slothbear, a double for me, so it is for the trade or sale. 5383 Hausser Elastolin Bactrian Camel in middle-brown. I had a more reddish variant, and a darkbrwon un-painted version already. All 3 together. 5422 Hausser Elastolin Nilecrocodile, also a double, so another one for the trade. And here are the hardplastic models, scale 1:25. It is often hard to tell if these hardplastic models were still made by Hausser, or by the later Preiser. But most of the time you can recognize the Haussers on the different and older way of painting. Hausser Elastolin Wild Boar Hausser Elastolin Moose Bull Here you see my 3 versions. The left one which lost his horns is made in Hong Kong in normal plastic, so a regular copy of the Hausser model. The one in the middle is made by Preiser Elastolin, is made out of hardplastic, but the antlers are made from a softer material. The one on the right is the original Hausser Elastolin hardplastic model, on which the antlers are made of hardplastic to. Of course the colouration is different in these 3 models. Hausser Elastolin Lioness, still one of the best in business IMHO! 3 Versions together, from the left to the right: Riesen Zoo(ZZ) copy of the Hausser model, Hausser Elastolin and another unknown copy i think, because the tip of the tail goes upwards, which isn't the case on the original models.... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Congratulations Willy! Nice figures, I also like a lot the moose with his long legs! ...there are not many sloth bears replicas, isn't it Willy? But this is very small, I think, even knowing that sloth bears are not large! :) |

| Thank you all guys, i am always happy with my new additions! The came model is great indeed, one of the best, very accurate, and very detailed, as most of the Hausser Elastolins. The slothbear is the only one, as far as i know... What is smalll Rogerio, it was made in the normal 1:32 scale from tha time. We could say that the modern brands are very big... Personally, i like this model from Timpo Toys Scotland from the 1970's very much: _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman
