Thanks Paige! This topic illustrates eloquently how 2020 was hard for ranchers. However, even though the number of releases is very limited, the quality is quite decent. One of them is even a serious candidat to enter my collection, the donkey!

And I never can resist an animal from the camel-family !!! Or a highland ! Or...hey ! I think they are all on my wishlst

Only teasing, it was hard but I am trying to get over it

I hope you can get over as soon as possible, Adam! You have one more excuse to get this donkey, they are very useful during hard times. Also, llamas and alpacas are good alternatives to sheep even if I agree a llama is not as polite as a Cotswold sheep.

I just want to mention that finally Scheich has the Alpaca Set in the wildlife range. Of course this is debatable..

Yes, since alpacas are domestic animals, it is very debatable the series where Schleich placed them. I didn’t mind they were vicuñas instead.

I say they're both, and in my opinion can be present in the wildlife and the farmlife threads. There are domestic and wild variants of the species.

Overall, considering the constraints of each brand, I am glad to see at least one model of nearly each type of farm animal present. Only things missing are actual pigs (not guinea) and a goat/sheep. At least there is some variety between the releases!

I agree Paige, there is even a donkey after a year of 4 donkeys. Thanks for updating, it is wonderful when topic starters update their topics to keep the forum in good shape.
