Racoons are of Procyonidae family and is a North American animal with grey fur, ringed tail and white-bordered facial mask. It climbs trees and washes its food. Racoon dogs, or tanukis, are of Canidae family and is an Asian animal with brown fur, plain tail and different facial mask without white border in the underside. It can't climb nor manipulate objects with the forelegs. But both share many things. Despite being unrelated, they are same sized, roughly same shaped, have a similar appareance in head, legs, etc, both are masked, both are well adapted for living in urban environment and both are invasive outside native range. It's called Evolutive Convergence - one of the most marvelous things of nature! _________________ My collection:- (Details):

Along with the North American grey fox they are the only canids capable of climbing trees (there may be others, I don't remember). I saw gray foxes scampering up trees in Florida - from a distance they looked like big squirrels LOL |

It is worth noting that NTC MICRO is a new series.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Hello Dirk, I would like you to clarify if these figures were sold in a set (jointly) or individually. I enclose a link where they seem to be marketed in boxes of 50 pieces: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] This is caused by the different ways of selling Japanese figures, because the capsules are all sold through capsule machines, usually a capsule machine has a capacity of 50. As you can see on the leaflet, the factory shipment specification is 1 box, there are 6 bags in it, 50 per generation, but there are only 10 types. Usually it’s not possible to buy a set of figures in Japan. You have to buy them repeatedly on the gashapon machine, or just buy a bag and make up a set of figures yourself. |

| The lot refers to the fauna that lives in the area that in Japan they call "SATOYAMA".
SATOYAMA (里 山): is a Japanese term applied to the area between the foothills of the mountains, the foothills, and the arable plain. Literally, sato (里) means arable land or gleba and humanized land, and yama (山) means hill or mountain. Satoyama has been developed over the centuries as an area for small-scale agriculture and forestry. The concept of SATOYAMA has several definitions. The first is the management of forests through local farming communities. During the Edo era, the fallen leaves were collected by the community to fertilize the rice fields. The wood was used for construction, cooking, and as firewood. Currently, satoyama defines not only mixed forest communities, but the entire surrounding landscape, a mosaic of mixed forests, rice fields, grasslands, streams, ponds and irrigation reservoirs, which ensure the water level of rice fields and fish farms.1 (WIKIPEDIA) |
