Shiba Inu comparison

Shiba Inus from different makers.Its curious that they have been made by a number of companies but they are not a very common breed,much less so than the Akita.I can see that the Japanese companies would make them as they are a Japanese breed,but wonder why others would pick this breed.

I contemplated the KC Shiba as the 'dog' in my Synoptic Collection but ended up going with the Mojo Labrador - haha.

It is the Papo 54017 Fox Terrier. I had it before KC produced the Shiba

Sooooo many gorgeous models- your dog collection is huge! And I'd also love to know what the top right one is!
All the Kaiyodos are gorgeous too, I just love Japanese figures and definitely want to try and use Brett in future as they are unmissable, but Ebay prices are always so high!
I just love them all, you have a wonderful pack! And I also find it curious the way so many brands have made them, especially brands that aren't Japanese I think that maybe once one brand has made them, it inspires others too, so that you get a whole wave of shibas!
And it's wonderful that brands are making this gorgeous and unusual breed

And that exquisite KC one- ohhhh every photo I see tempts me even more!! It really is one of the best plastic dogs ever made, and it's bigger than I thought which is amazing! It puts the other wonderful shiba to shame- I wish that whoever sculpted the KC one could work for major brands!

The KC one is the obvious masterpiece, but I also very much like the one at the lower far right in Taylor's photo. The pose is charming.
