Bullyland - Hannover ?

Today i got a figure that i bought especially for STS. It is a unpainted pelican and looks very similar with this old Bullyland figure.

Is it a german knockoff or was Bullyland in the past marked with "Hannover"?

This is certainly very interesting, firstly I don't think Bullyland have ever been based in Hannover however it could be one of their factories in Hannover as this figure is made in Germany.

Bullyland had for sure a cooperation with the Hannover Zoo. Looking older catalogues, you can find photos of the Hannover Zoo. So maybe there is a link?
