| I presented my collection in about February last year but I now see my photos were not of the best quality and it was hard to see what figures are actually in my collection. So I thought I would present it in a different way by showing them in groups, for example all my snakes, elephants, rhinos etc So over the coming weeks I'll be presenting my collection in parts for you all to enjoy _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | Finally here comes some of my collection [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Species: Southern white rhinoceros Brands, from left to right: Safari Ltd, Unknown, Papo & two CollectA Information on the figures: The Safari and both the CollectA were purchased off MPV in 2018 & 2019, the Papo calf from Knowsley safari park and I have the unknown figure from my early childhood, and was my only white rhino for eleven years (as of 2021) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Species: Sumatran rhinoceros Brand: Safari Ltd Information on the figure: This figure I bought off MPV in 2018 in time from Christmas [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Species: Indian rhinoceros Brands, from left to right: Three Schleich and Safari Ltd Information on the figures: The most recent Schleich figure was purchased in 2018 off MPV in time for Christmas. The two older and retired Scleich were bought off eBay in either 2012 or 2013 as an early birthday gift. Finally the Safari Ltd was bought in 2020 in time for Christmas, I only need one more figure to complete my herd, and I am considering the Papo, Simba or an AAA. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Species: Eastern black rhinoceros Brands, from left to right: Schleich, Nayab, Unknown: it looks like an Elastolin knock off, another Schleich and Papo Information on the figures: Both the Schleich adult and calf were purchased during my early (ish) childhood from either my local toy shop or the one in my nearest city. The Nayab is also from early childhood, and I cannot work out where it is from, as it was my only Nayab for a long, long time. The unknown, possibly Elastolin knock off, I got free, in a large bundle of figures from Kelly (Pipsxlch). Finally the Papo was bought at the London Natural History Museum in 2016 when I visited the city for the first time. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Species: Pygmy hippopotamus Brands, from left to right: CollectA, Safari Ltd & another CollectA Information on the figures: Both the CollectA were purchased for Christmas 2016 and it was the year I first discovered MPV, and I am so grateful I did, otherwise my collection would be relatively small and mainly the figures would be Schleich and Papo. The Safari figure was bought for Christmas 2018. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Species: Common hippopotamus Brands, from left to right: Schleich 1996, unknown, Schleich 2013 adult and calf, Bullyland, AAA & Schleich 2018 Information on the figures: The 1996 Schleich was actually chosen by my brother when he was a young toddler and thought it'd look good for my zoo, he probably wanted to play with it so that's why he picked it, it was my second hippo. The 2013 Schleich pair I think were bought sometime around 2013-2014. The Bullyland acted as my female hippo for a while and was bought in a bundle from the distributor of CollectA in the UK, there was more Bully than CollectA. The AAA was my first and was sold by the ELC in tin carrier cases. The 2018 Schleich was bought on the 31st of December 2019 at my local toy shop, and finally the unknown, I got free, in a large bundle of figures from Kelly (Pipsxlch). _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | Great start! What brand is to the left of the CollectA white rhino? I need the nayab black rhink and CollectA pygmy hippos. Great again! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Well if you mean to the left of the 2019 white rhino, it's the CollectA from 2006, but if you mean the 2006 figure, it's unbranded and made in China _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | Aha, the old collectA. I didn't recognize it next to their new big male. Thanks! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | This Collecta White from 2006 is the best of all, because its legs are not too thick like the ones of the other models! beautiful rhinos and hippos collection Adam!

| Soooo many fantastic rhinos and hippos, a wonderful start to your collection topic! I've always loved the Schleich hippo with its mouth open, this model has some lovely details with the slightly glossy surface around the mouth and nose! I love collection topics and am really looking forward to seeing the rest of your tour! |

| Cool thing that we have now the possibility to see your collection in close ups. Would it be possible to give some descriptions, too? Like other members did with the brands for example? So we could already see from left to right for example which brands are presented, the same with the species names? :) |

| Yes, of course, I think that it would definitely be much more helpful However I have 32 African lions and Bengal tigers so this might be quite a long list of brands and a big description And I think I may start the descriptions now, and edit my first post _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | Ooh really? If you wouldn't mind, I would be love to have it in my collection. May I ask if it has the oxpecker on its back or the one with the very large gape? _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis.
