Thanks to Simone's help, I have gotten some of the "Happy Meal" McDonald models made by Schleich
I have had a lot of fun with them, because they are so closely related to the Schleich's standard models, - but often not quite
Here are some pictures I have taken. Some for TAW, and some for fun
Everybody are welcome to share their own pictures here, and it would be extra great if we may use them for TAW also
Who can resist and Alpaca ? I surely can not
This one reminded me of the old Schleich alpacas, only...isn't it larger ?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]YES !
Except for a bending front leg, it is almost exactly like the standard kria, but it surely is MUCH larger
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And a donkey
So lovely, look at those ears !!!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Except for the ears, it is clearly related to the standard 13772 donkey, -but there is another difference .
The standard one is a mare, the MD is a ....a nothing
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]These two Md models also have something in common : They have lighter belly
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Simone also sent me 3 pinto horses
The mare here is the same mould as the Tennessee walker 13833, only 13833 is chestnut, and the material is different.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I would have liked to compare the two, but unfortunately I do not own the chestnut mare. I'll have to do something about that
This lovely little filly is also ( almost ) the same mould as the 13804 Tennessse wakink foal
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]But the 13804 is a colt, and the MD one is a filly and has little red braids in her little mane
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The foal her, lying down, is ever so cute, and I was sure I have one of her relatives
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]No, not a realative, because she is the same mould as the Haflinger foal 13292 from 2005 !
Haflingers are never pintos, so it must be convergent evolution
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And an ICEY
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]There is absolutely no doubt, - these two are made from the same mould !
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Again ! Look at the bellies of the two grown up horses
The icey even has a PINK belly
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And the cutest little lamb
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]They could easily be twins, I think.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]In the parcel from Simone there were also two dogs
A happy, tail-wagging Golden Retriever
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Of course he is happy, because here he found a wife and a puppy
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The Berner Sennen dog is extremely interesting !!! Especially the paintwork is unusual
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Let's look at a couple of comparisons... In many ways they are the same.
But as anybody can see, the MC dog has a lifted front leg
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and a very interesting pattern in his face
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and he has moved his tail
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]He also has a white belly...hmm, but so does the original, I just forgot to take a comparison picture
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Last, a nice diloposaurus. I am extremely fond of Dilopos
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I do not have the original one ( 14567), however I can see in the catalogue that 14607 has a moveable jaw and perhaps better paintwork.
However, immediately I saw him, I thought of the old Guanlong from Safari !
They seem to have a lot to discuss, so perhaps I thought right
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]That is all for now.
Again I want to thank Simone,
and I hope others have pictures to contribute
