| Does anyone know which company may have made this set. I got this set about 10 years ago at a country auction, with the box but no markings. The animals are heavy and I believe the paint is original. The only clue is that some of the animals are marked EIRE. Any help would be great. | I think at least some of them (fox, owl), maybe most of them, are Pixyland Kew. If you need a new place for them, call me |

| Are they lead models? Those marked EIRE are from Ireland, probably Authenticast. Could you please provide a closer picture of the fox? |

| Tiger, Brown bear, Seal and 'gorilla' are Timpo Toys Limited sculpts. Timpo Toys Limited were a breakaway group formed by two directors formally of Timpo Toys, London and set up in Eire (Irish Republic). The venture, which started in 1946, was short lived and lasted until around 1950.
Hope this helps |

| I only figured out now what's the advantage of Kiki's upside down mode. Thanks for all these pictures, I wished that fox was mine. It reminds me the earlier Kaiyodo but obviously there's no connection between them. |

| Hello NMR_Okapi, thank you very much that you show us so wonderful old vintage animals. Can we take this animals to our ToyAnimalWiki? I made a little work on your fotos. This fotos I would use for TAW. Can you make a foto from the down side of an animal marked with "Eire"? Benno. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

@NMR_Okapi allowed us to use his pictures as you can see in this topic. :) Though, in case of doubt it is always better to ask as you did. By the way, it is wonderful the work you are doing at the Wiki. |

| Yep, you can use my photos any time. I will try to get a photo of the EIRE, it is hard to see on some and others are faded or absent |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Although, I have images of this fox sculpt in two different books both state manufacturer unidentified. NMR_Okapi is this fox a solid metal figure? The two books are both written by Norman Joplin: "The Great Book of Hollow Cast Figures" and "British Toy Figures"

| The fox is hollow, but quite heavy still. Here are the best pictures of the stamps, the small animals lack the stamp as does the zebra and giraffe. But I do believe they are all from the same maker [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |
