What a beautiful and inventive way to make a model look much more realistic! I try, with my home made scale scenery, but they're all land animals who do fine with a bit of fake grass or paving to stand on, I never considered how tricky photographs in lifelike settings must be if you collect aquatic species!

Thank you so much everyone! As I mentioned before this was taken at a local small fishing pond, this spot was a little creek/swimming hole nearby. I was surprised to see small shells there! So it seemed a good setting for this amazing species. Very Happy

That's when a moose is trying to know if it is safe to reach the next island or if there is a Greenland shark, born in the XVII century, waiting for him. Yes, Mr. Moose, some live for so long to shorten the life of others. Wonderful Paige! cheers

It seems I am not the only one worried with what the water is hiding. Wink

However, that shadow of the tree on the first picture looks like a human, maybe a Titan, I can see from the legs to the hair. Great tribute to that old elephant.

Beautiful shots again, the area where you take them looks stunning! Very Happy

This elephant remained the official Asian bull in my collection for a very long time as it didn't age one bit, only the tusks are too much outdated and I'm not as attached to my current models.
