Interesting detail that Schleich released a shortlived family in 2010 and now a new complete family in 2020. Will we have a 3rd family of Schwarzwalvders in 2030? I remember the previous family was very well received, let's see how it is with this one.

I adore the old Black Forest mare! The new mare and this lil one are not bad, but the new stallion, oh gods help him!

Lovely foal

As often lately, Schleich did not make the baby fuzz the right colour, - Schwarzwälder foals are a light red untill they change into their first summer coat.
You see it clearly in the picture below.

But in this case I understand Schleich using the same colour as the parents to make it obvous that they are family.
