| Another great walkaround from Kosta !!! Congratulations with these new Mojo zebras Hmm, I am not sure I am completely happy with the mare, - are you sure it is Anna who made them ? Again, I am not very good at pointing out what I see, but something with a low shoulderand large head ? That said, she has a great pose , - clearly alert and watching over her adoreable, almost new borne foal Brilliant photos and great comparisons _________________ SUSANNE |

| Thank you very much Susanne Hmm, yes , these two are made it by Anna. Look, she presented them last year , here in the forum : This TopicI understand your feelings about the mare ... and maybe the paint work doesn`t give so much chance to appreciate the sculpt .. If you see on the Anna`s topic, she showed on the last photo, the original sculpt of the models and to me, they look much better :))) _________________ KOSTA |

| The mare looks too friendly, almost smiling, very Schleich-like Roger would say (and certainly more Schleich-like than the actual Schleich zebras). _________________ Schleich 370 CollectA 76 Papo 61 Safari 24 Yujin 15 Southlands 12 Mojo 14 Maia&Borges 5 Bullyland 1 Recur 1 Homemade 3 Bootleg 1 Total 582

| Mojö is discontinuing obviously their 2nd generation zebras and the quagga from Anna. Thus, it is natural that Mojö invested seriously in their new zebras and gave this task to Anna, an experient sculptor of equids. I will start with the foal, it is easy, the model is perfect, even nicer than the very good CollectA's old brother. Foal legs are 95% the size of an adult, what tives them that conformation quite different from their parents. Anna captured everything perfectly. Mare is also very beautiful, the first thing we notice when compared with the previous versions, it is its pose, much more graceful and surely less boring. I like the printed strips and I notice that they extended correctly the strips towards the belly, I think it was not like that in their prototype and luckily they fixed it. Considering it is a Grant's zebra, I think the inner legs should be striped, at least not completely white. I believe it is not possible when strips are printed but it can be added manually, I guess. I also think strips should be slightly longer on rump and chest to reduce the white area but this is just a minor detail I love how it is painted on flanks with these wide contrasting black strips and I also like the huge amount of tiny strips we can see on legs, I think only the CollectA model is similar in this regard. Another distinct element is the furry tail with these long hairs, exactly the opposite we can see on Schleich's model with its almost vestigial brush. An interesting option. I still miss a zebra from major brands, either Mojö's, CollectA's or previous Schleich generation are all good to me. |

| I know everyone wants to worship these figures because they are designed by forum member and friend to many, Anna. But I think the CollectA models are far superior.
The Mojo models are very nice, but I much prefer CollectA. |

Very well analysing Roger :) Abaut the missing strips on the inner legs ... as we saw also on the giraffe ( which is also with printed pattern) , Mojo is doing it more simple and they don`t care so much about the inner part. The belly is also completely white. The Colecta model for example is also with printed strips, but they made also strips on inner part of the legs ... and on some places, where they can`t use print, they did it by hand :) So, maybe Mojo has to work also for this in the future :) _________________ KOSTA |

That's the goal, to make constructive comments to help brands improving their models and to help us taking the best choices. That's the reason why I like so much to enjoy thi collecting subject in a forum, where we discuss several things about this hobby instead of interacting with a bunch of likes and animations that are often meaningless. |

| This is what I like in Mojo.. They go up .. they improve ! Maybe the print technology is new to them, but at least they try it .. and with more trying, they will do it better. :) They improve the models, the newer ones are sculpted more detailed. They try to improve the paint job on older models. I am sure, when Mojo has more favourable budget, they will start again giving us interesting spieces of animals.. like they did before. And very important thing : They listen us - the collector customers :) They want to know, how to make our smile bigger _________________ KOSTA |
