| New additions (August 28, 2021) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Acquired in a trade with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]: Bullyland Freshwater Fishes: Salmon (most likely Atlantic), Powan, European Eel [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Bought from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]: Lineol Common Eland (Heavy wear. May need to be repainted) Lineol Duck (Pattern most matches African Black Duck, although the figures is probably intended to represent a domestic variety of Mallard) Jeol Common Waterbuck Bandai Blue-footed Booby (Adult only, no base or chick. Somewhat worn; may be repainted, likely into a different species) Hartung generic large passerine (Most resembles Japanese Thrush) Hartung pair of generic small passerines (Most resemble Dark-eyed Juncos) Unknown Brand Osprey (marked “K OSPREY CHINA”) Safari Ltd Hawk, Galapagos (Galapagos TOOB) K&M Red-tailed Hawk (Birds of Prey Tube) K&M Philippine Eagle (Birds of Prey Tube) K&M Clouded Leopard (Asian Rainforest Bulk) K&M Satanic Leaf-tailed Gecko (Madagascar Tube) (Identification is conjectural; Uroplatus phantasticus is the most well-known species) Bullyland White Stork (Another well-worn figure, this is likely to be repainted as a Maguari, Abdim’s, or Storm’s Stork) Bullyland Canary, Domestic (Yes, this is another one in bad shape. Will be repainted as Evening Grosbeak) Yowie Orange-bellied Parrot Unknown Brand Duck (Probably a Spanish brand. Species is virtually impossible to discern. No waterfowl has this combination of characteristics. The closest is the Black-headed Duck, but some of the colors just don’t match. Not marked) Unknown Brand Gull (Again, probably a Spanish brand. Colors and shape by far most match Lesser Black-backed Gull. Unmarked) Unknown Brand generic passerine. (Not at all identifiable. Will most certainly be customized as a wren of some species) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Bought in a custom, private eBay lot: Wing Mau/Club Earth Zebra-tailed Lizard (Yet another figure with paint loss. Also has a broken tail tip; the broken-off part is shown aligned to the lizard’s remaining tail is it would be on an undamaged figure. It will be repainted to match its original condition and its tail will be glued together again) Safari Ltd Tortoise (Petting Zoo TOOB) (Original version. I cannot confidently identify the species of this figure. Let me know if you can identify this figure to a specific species of Testudo)

| Very good and some rare additions, congratulations! K&M birds are larger and nicer than the traditional tube figures, maybe one of the best tubes ever released. The osprey is probably an Innovative Kids model, usually the K is slightly larger than the other letters marked on their figures. However, I have no idea to which set it belongs. |

| Different font and all caps, though. Doesn’t match the IK figures that I have. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I do have some sea animals that are the same mold as Marvel Education which are not marked with a K or species name at all. |

| I am not sure which the discussion is referring to, but the butterfly is Innovative Kids, but not Groovy Tubes. it's 'Junior Groovies', a book series for younger children
EDIT: Nevermind, i see the discussion is for the osprey. K can mean two things: a 'K' for Innovative Kids, or the letter K as the 11th letter of the alphabet, or the 11th figure in a set. |
