| I hope it's alright that I give each set its own thread. I feel that makes it a little easier to sort them out! Thanks once again to Roger for sharing the Mini-animals sets catalogue! After looking at it, I was able to recognize these weird little creatures when I saw a lot on ebay. Sorry about the blurriness, but notice that only 22 out of 24 animals are pictured, and some of those very difficult to discern (even if it was full resolution). So I bought them! They are wonderfully weird, which I quite enjoy, and similar to the dogs set in the fact that they have very minimalistic painting and are made from orange or white plastic. What I found on TAW was that they share SOME (but not all - Hippo in particular) molds with the Playspaces set. The sea otter actually looks like the Innovative Kids sea otter. I put them here, however, because of their appearance on the catalogue as well as their stamps matching the horses, dogs, and cats in their arrangement. But maybe someone knows where they really belong? The numbers make much less sense than the dogs. However, unlike the dogs, all the duplicates I now have (which is a lot for some of them) are consistent with each other. Just like the horses, cats, and dogs, each animal has a number, the common name, and CHINA The common name are less specific than the breeds by far. They are much more generic terms rather than species. I've included the names as they appear. C2 - HIPPOPOTAMUS C3 - CAMEL C4 - GIRAFFE (the tack behind him is not impaling him, but holding him up!) C5 - PUMA C6 - BLACK PANTHERC7 - LIONC8 - TIGERC9 - ELEPHANTC10 - MONKEYC11 - GORILLAC12 - MUSK OX48 - SEA OTTER 61 - KANGAROO62 - ZEBRA63 - MONGOOSE64 - HOG BOAR65 - ANTELOPE66 - ANTEATER67 - SCALY ANT-EATER68 - ?69 - BADGER70 - WOLF71 - FOXPictured are Panther, Tiger, Panda?, Wolf, Fox, Lion, Polar Bear?, Mongoose, Badger, Pangolin, Musk Ox, Anteater, Hippo, Elephant, Kangaroo, Gorilla, Zebra, Giraffe, Antelope, Camel, Monkey, and an unidentified animal behind Tiger (almost looks like the shoulders of a second musk ox?). Mine that are not pictured are Sea Otter, Wild Boar, and Puma. None of them match the shape of the withers behind Tiger, and three is too many for a 24 piece assortment, suggesting either one of them is not part of the set or the unidentified animal is a duplicate. The Sea Otter is a little suspicious because of his number, but he fits the set well otherwise. My guess is Sea Otter, Boar and Puma are missing from the photo, Musk Ox is pictured twice, and Panda and Polar Bear are the two missing from my collection. But if anyone knows otherwise please let me know! Thanks again as always for helping me with sorting these out. I love the idea of having four of the sets from the catalogue (not as excited about the large horses or the farm). Now I just have to find all those missing critters! |

| I got a few of these a while ago and also tried to work out who produced them: https://sts-forum.forumieren.de/t19036p200-1-32-scale-animals. I hadn't thought of Club Earth. I think they might be produced by Wing Mau and then sold under various brand names (including K&M and Yujin). I like the puma a lot, even though the colour is quite odd. |

| Oh, thank you, that's a nice detailed conversation about those figures. The one company producing the mold and many other companies using it still, clearly, confuses me a bit. Based on what people were saying about the cats and dogs, I think we still don't know if these sets on this catalogue are technically Club Earth, as the catalogue was produced by Play Visions? But the molds did not match Play Visions molds, and did match Club Earth. So since these don't match Club Earth molds . . . ? I am going to have them on the shelf beside the other sets, at least, and call them all the Catalogue Page Sets. I agree, I like the puma as well, even with its strange domestic cat colors. Really, I like a lot of these sculpts, even the really weird sea otter. |

| It's amazing how you are finding all these lovely sets that have more or less never been discovered before! What a wonderful array of figures, with some lovely species in there too! It's a very interesting style, because the sculpts are actually very nice, and I think painted differently could make some wonderful animals! And this set is also lovely because it has many animals that are favourites of collectors here- so I'm sure they'll love discovering new models of them! A fox and a giant anteater for Roger, and a wolf for Paige and Fallon, and I'm sure others too! |

| Thank you! It's fun to follow obscure trails, it's what I missed about collecting Breyer and MLP. They were, by in large, easy to find and there was very little hunt anymore - only a lot of money, haha. These were the opposite! Though I was surprised to see them pop up only a few days after I fist saw the catalogue, so maybe not much of a hunt after all. I agree, just like the dogs, many could look quite nice with a good paint job. I have doubles of many of them now (and some triples, and quadruples) because they came in a lot together (somehow with two still missing!). However, I hesitate to do any painting to them before finding out how often they pop up in the market. I doubt they are highly desirable to most, but some part of me still balks at painting a possibly uncommon model. (Probably not very uncommon, given, as I said, this lot showed up on ebay almost immediately after I learned it existed!) |

Repaints are beautiful, but it's always best to see how rare something is first! |

That's a good alternative for this sort of unusual little sculpt! I'd love to know what yours has stamped on it, if it's easy for you to find out. Maybe it's part of the Play Spaces set? |

It´s for now in a shoe box, but when I´m starting to sorting evertyhing out, I will let you know :) I bought it as single model in a German Zoo for a very cheap amount. |

| I *might* have the bears in my trade/sales box, near the bottom no doubt. If I find them and I do, they're yours. |

| I found them! PM me your mailing address if you want them. I have a couple others you may like. I bought them in a bulk pack from US Toys when they had a store nearby, as to history. Not branded. |

| Thanks to @pipsxlch I have (I think) completed this set! And in fact, I think possibly the mystery of the 24th animal might have a solution (though not a very satisfying one for me). Panda 68Bear 72 (not designated Polar Bear) And then there's this guy, Rhinoceros C1 - his number and his look match the set well, better in fact than the Sea Otter, which was always the slightly suspicious one (plastic is a different color, number doesn't fit). So I bet this is the real 24th animal, and that would explain the shoulders behind the tiger - except that profile still doesn't match the Rhino, because the head is too low and you can't see the horn. I might be getting way too picky about it, but I still think the musk ox has been photographed twice and whatever the last animal is simply isn't pictured. Whatever the case, whether it matters or not, this guy seems to complete the set better than the sea otter. But considering the lack of photo evidence, that is only conjecture. There also isn't a micro-mini rhino that I have seen yet to go with that "matching" set (but there's also not an otter). And then I just thought this was neat. These are also from pipsxlch, and they are from the same set (numbers match), they just got made in a very hot pink plastic instead of orange seen on the puma on the left. Not real important, just interesting to me as I amass variants of this set, ha! |

| Glad they got there! I have A LOT of these guys, and noticed the different plastic colors- so thought you might like examples of each. They all came from the same place at the same time, same package. |

| Kelly helped you to complete a few puzzles. If a few more friends share more informations, we may be able of sorting everything. Many of us have a few of these models hidden in boxes, I am still searching for my pangolin. These numbers at least show that these figures are grouped in sets of 12 and with two sets we get a set of 24, these figures allow a kind of multiple use. You have now all from C1 to C12 ... and from 61 to 72 what is perfect. 48 sea otter is the exception,, certainly the last of a set countaining the numbers from 37 to 48. |
