| Hooray, just in time for Christmas! What a remarkable change, I would love this display this in my house! That camel tack is really great! You say you don't have crafty skills, but I am very impressed by those. What a trio of handsome travelers. |

| Thank you so much everyone! This is my next project... as usual I forgot to take a before pic. Anyway, the "due by" date is for NEXT Christmas! I would give myself an aneurysm if I tried for next week. Happy Holidays my friends. All the reindeer are too excited. And then, my camels. Pins hold the fabric down partly where I need to sew it in the future... they do look a little silly at the moment but workable! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Then the diorama components. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
this is just exceptional work Paige! I love the caravans on the camels, they look splendid, each camel looks so proud to be there, all dressed up in their finery and the palm trees on the dunes are a perfect touch. Did you make them too ? Well done, you very talented creative person !! And your woodworking skills are excellent by the way, so be proud of them |

| Thank you so much Annette. :) I am excited to work more on my sleigh project. The "dunes" are just green foam blocks that are used for flower bouquet arrangements. I sculpted them a little and then spray painted them with sand texture spray paint for dioramas. Bought some palm trees (dang hard things to find! Most were way too small or too big). Pretty simple to do but pretty delicate to keep from getting damaged. I feel that it adds a little something to the whole set. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs.
