Schleich 2022 releases with PICTURES!

The loris is oddly positioned but I think it is done well and works with their style. The cougar is nice too from a prelimary look. The beaver and tapir calf are very diaappointing...

It should also be him apologizing, not you in his stead.
Looking at what was written later he didn't take it back, took the opportunity to troll instead of doing that, didn't edit the post in question and thus I am inclined to think it was not a typo.

Okay wow, the remaining ones look all really good.
The pose for the slow loris is pretty surprising.
I suppose 2022 is saved then, some bad but some good and that is alright, they can't all be Mojö.

The puma seems definitely good, and will be better with extra layering after some repaint BUT let's see if it's as good in hand as it seems in the promo pic.
The same goes for the loris, whose pose positively surprises me BUT I'm afraid about the size.

Would be weird if the new Schleich Styracosaurus wouldn't be better than the previous one but I didn't expect it to be that good.
I'm definitely interested in that one.

From this last group of pictures I am very excited about the puma. I like the pose, body proportions and it looks like a puma. I need to check the face in real but I'm having good feeling about a species that does not have very good representatives.
Slow loris is not impressive but a good choice for Schleich and I actually like the pose and surely in my wish list.
Beaver looks completely uninteresting to me.
I confess I also don't like what I see on pictures respecting to the tapir baby, CollectA models seems much more effective.
Styracosaurus seems a serious model but I don't collect dinos.
Thus, for this year, I may get puma, loris and tapir even if I don't think the last one will be better than Safari's.

I've seen the horses and am pleasantly surprised. I mean, there's still some wildly illogical design decisions in the hair being styled - we have a plaited Icelandic horse, a breed which is never plaited for showing, and a long running braid along the neck of a criollo, which if they're given any mane modification at all, are cut short along the crest leaving just a tuft at the withers!

But there's a definite improvement in the anatomy in this batch. They've realised horses have chests, for a start
The Icelandic stallion isn't bad, the criollo would've been decent if not for the silly mane thing and the weird pasterns which aren't properly aligned with the rest of the leg, and the Oldenburg mare is actually...good? The proportions look nice, the pose is interesting and realistic, and it's a decent breed resemblance (though admittedly any chunky warmblood could be any other chunky warmblood too )

Thanks all! I really like the puma. Better than the Papo one I've got now, I think. Can't wait for the rest of the fantasy stuff to be revealed.

Ok, I've seen most of the pics of the leak figures!
Overall they are nice but am I the only one who think that the fur is too "exaggerated"? Like it's feel too much textured? And most of the horse feels papo/Bullyland to me, it's weird to explain.

I going to review the one I feel the need to say something:

-the islandic horses have nice pose and are very dynamic!
-the criollo mare seems to have really nice coloring with a lot of shading!
-the ragdoll cat looks like it have seen a ghost XD but the sculp is nice
-the greyhound ... is not a greyhound??? Wth?
-the long eared rabbit looks like it's wet and curled. Weird.
-the iguana have a really nice head and colors!
-the stork, the flamingo and the mandrill looks really stiff and plasticy
-the adult tapir have a really nice walking pose
-the lava and ice tigers are beautiful, especially the ice one!
-love the design of the rainbow dragon
-the lllama unicorn is a mess which is a shame since it's face is really cute
-love the parasaurolophus is nice but the green crest is a bit to flashy

First of all, thank you for sending me the pictures! I got of lot of respons, I love that we have heartwarming and sharing community.

And now my opinion on the 2022 models as far we know at this moment:
I agree that most of figures are an improvement in comparison with previous years. (Forget the bullterrier, ofcourse)

Personally I only collect the horses from Schleich so I'm happy with every new horse to add into my collection. I don't care very much if the model is not so realistic, I still want in in my collection to make it complete.

The horses for January 2022 look beautiful in mine opinion, so I can't complain. I'm happy to see some new breeds & molds and for now no models painted in an other color and call it a new mold.

I am curious what the rest of 2022 will bring! Schleich is on with a good start.

I've seen them all now. Just the scorpion for me next year; none of the others are better than current examples I have of their respective species.
