Schleich 2022 releases with PICTURES!

Hey fellow collectors,

Loustic is right!
I found at this moment two pictures on Instagram from the toyfair in London with some product of the second half of 2022. I can not post the pictures because the pictures are not mine, so I describe what I can see. If you want to see it for yourself, send my a private message and I give you the link.

Here are my descriptions:
One picture is with the bayala products.
What I see is:
A blue unicorn with a merman on it's back. I think the productnumber is 70718. Productname I can not read... and release date is July 2022
A mermaid sitting on a dolphin. I think the  productnumber is 70719.Productname I can not read... and release date is also July 2022

The other picture is Horse Club and I think most people won't like what i see....
I see 9 horses with brushable mane and tail!
For two of them I can see the productnumber and name.

Both of them will be released in September 2022

Personally I think the new horses with brushable mane and tail are good for customs, So I don't dislike them that much.

I think we saw the same photos which I took the liberty of sharing on instagram.
I'm very disappointed with the brand's evolution in the horse category ... I'm thinking of stopping my collection as I don't want their horses with brushable manes and tails. But where are we going? Schleich has totally changed its toy range in the last few years, which must appeal to a large category of children but sometimes displease collectors. That's the way it is!

Okay, Evira, just a question from a blind collector: is the mermaid on the dolphin just sitting the, or is she actually riding the dolphin? If she's riding it side saddle, then I probably won't get this set. However, if she's just sitting next to the dolphin, then she would be a good fit in my kingdom. At this point, I need more information, so if you could provide more details, then that would be great. As for the horses, those I think I'll pass on, since they have brushable manes and tails. Okay, just saying, brushable manes and tails is SUCH a weird idea, but I can see how some people would like it. Not me though. Anyway, thanks for the info, and I'll put the Bayala Mermaid on my Searchlist.

P.S. Your descriptions were very helpful, but I do need more info about the mermaids.

the horses you just mentioned do not have a brushable tail and mane, they are as usual.

I saw pictures of brushable maned horses float around and at first I thought it was My Beautiful Horses on display.

This is where I draw the line, too.
No hairy horses from Schleich for this drunk knight.

Concerning the mermaid, she is sitting on the dolphin (like an "amazon" ride, sorry, I don't know how to say it in English), in front of the fin.

Those horses look terrible. Count me out with the brushable mane and tail as well. Hopefully it'll only be a "set" release and not come into the main line that releases in January every year. Although, I also don't want those things clogging up the sets release slots either.

I don't know how to find the pictures (I don't understand how to search things on social media, I think you need accounts on the sites to do that, and Googling 'schleich london toy fair' or 'schleich brushable' hasn't brought up anything relevant in the image search), so I can't tell how good or bad the figures look, but I can totally see why they've gone with the idea - other horsey toy companies have sold similar things very well over the years, and they want a slice of those sales figures!

Yep, Breyer is getting into the brushable manes at a couple different size scales the last year or two. I bet it's because of that. I'm not sure if you need an account, but try [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] in the search bar on Instagram. The pictures shouldn't be too far down. Google doesn't catalog Instagram pictures, so that's never helpful.

Nothing for the moment in this theme. Maybe today or tomorrow. Personally I've only seen 3 pictures so far of the new stuff.

Hello. I have seen two pieces of news that will reassure some people: horses to be styled and Horse Club will be two different things apparently. The picture of the horse club products is from a distance but it looks like there is going to be a new stable! In the farm world category we have 3 western packs, a hen house on a cart, a new kennel and 3 new hens. The pictures are of poor quality so they are just observations

The three hens shown are from a breed with that funny 'hairdo' on their head, I completely forgot the breed... But they aren't just normal chickens, that's for sure. The kennel (yellow thing that looks rather cheap imho) is displayed with two dogs, a adult and pup and I think they are the brow/white version of the Border Collie or the Australian shepherd, but due to the bad quality picture it isn't clear. I hope it is the first one haha. The chicken coop is also cheap looking (not as much details as the previous chicken coop) and has a yellow chick and two completely different chickens, a rooster and a hen. Black rooster and white hen, looks like a certain breed too but can't see that well. Shame you have to buy the entire set just to obtain those two. The three chickens with the funny 'hairdo' are displayed loose among the newest dogs we already know. So hopefully those three are sold separately.

Well, now I'll put the three chickens ands new coop on my searchlist, but ah I wish we had item numbers for these, because then I could REALLY enter them on my list. See, my list has the item numbers first, and then the animal name, and then the company who made it. My collectors reference guide works the same way. Anyway, if anyone has information concerning item numbers for this new stuff, please let me know.

Unfortunately the pictures are too bad to read the references... If other people have seen pictures of the Horse Club category (apart from the horses to be styled) I'm interested

Ooh the Silkie type chicken, yes.

Dogs and a kennel!! Very exciting, even if they're not realistic I can't wait to see photos!

I'm not on social media to see pics, but funny hairdo chicken could be something like a Polish hatted also? If the pictures are that indistinct it may be hard to tell.

A guy who attended the toy fair posted this photo of the Schleich chickens. Hopefully you can see the photo?
