| A rarity! I knew this species (aquatic genet, and it's a genet, "aquatic civet" is incorrect) only because of this figure. I would not mind to have one, even if the quality of sculpt is not breathtaking, it's enough for be displayed and the interest of the species worth it. _________________ My collection:- (Details):

| I have it and I love it. Both TAW and PV are correct. When the figure was released, the animal was placed in the genus Osbornictis and known as an Aquatic civet. In 2004, after the release of this model, it was reclassified and moved to the genus Genetta so the name civet was replaced to genet for obvious reasons. I think Safari could make a TOOB, like those with a smaller number of figures but larger and with nicer quality, these small mammals are not common in toy shape, we need more of them, Play Visions released them more than 20 years ago and they are still the best we can find. |

| It is indeed an Aquatic Genet and not an “Aquatic Civet”, but I didn’t know that it used to be in the civet genus. Interesting! Collectible Wildlife Gifts currently has a surprisingly large quantity of this and all other PV “viverrid” figures, if you’re interested. |
