| Very nice additions ! :) I have the whole Colorata raptor set (it's much cheaper buying it whole than each figure individually), and I must admit that the harpy and the secretarybird are undoubtely the stars of the set!! And all these raptors have the exact perfect size for me! Secretarybird matches so well with most animals in my collection (of course it not matches with the ginormous emu-sized CollectA secretarybird haha). As you said the seams are not nice but they are enough discrete for having the figures displayes. The harpy eagle position is just atonishing and the beautiful patterned wings are to fall in love. Since I don't like bases I displayed all my raptors separatedly from them. In the secretarybird I cut the peg in the foot, but that means that it cannot stand upright unless supported by another structue (in my overcrowded shelves, by other figures). The position of the secretarybird is also very beautiful. I customized the iguana (and the Steller's sea eagle salmon) as figures per se :) (
Nice frogs and carnivores too! They're well done :) _________________ My collection:- (Details):

| The harpy eagle is stunning, I know what you mean about the assembly seams but when the sculpt and paintwork is so impeccably detailed it's easy to forgive them. The frogs are great, too - I especially like the clever use of clear plastic under the paint, so they can have translucent toes! |

| I find all of these Japanese figures really great! Those Schleich are not my favorite for these species but undoubtfully they're nice models too. How many frogs can be found in that Colorata set, do you know? |

I checked the TAW page first and I got surprised about the little number listed and I thought it could be uncomplete. That's why I asked. Thanks! |

| Congrats for your nice newcomers The Colorata "Frogs of japan" set has only four models, jsut like the "Turtles of Japan" one. Except the Rana ishikawae, they were first sold in the rare "River life" set [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I wanted to get Papo's new megalodon figure and (I presume is now retired) their styracosaurus so I made an order on Everything Dinosaur and got some Eofauna models too Today they arrived! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I love Eofauna's models and I think they are a very affordable price for their level of detail and size, so I've been wanting to get all of their figures. The deinotherium is very nice and I am so happy to have it next to their straight-tusked elephant and steppe mammoth. A very gorgeous and nice sized figure. I have always been adding Papo dinosaurs to my collection and I try to grab ones I like before they retire. Since this figure is getting a repaint this year I figured the old version would be retiring, so I picked it up. I actually like the red coloration quite a bit and I think it will look nice next to the repainted version. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The triceratops pair "Dominant" & "Cryptic" are my favorite of the bunch! I'm always surprised when I order Eofauna models. I will be more excited for a particular figure but once they arrive I find out that I like the other even more. I typically don't like brightly colored dinosaurs but I think it works so well on these triceratops and I just love how they can be in a fighting position. I definitely need to get some pictures of these two outside kicking up some dust I like the body coloration of the one on the left more but love the head of the one on the right! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then the Papo megalodon which was the main motivation for this order. Nothing all too unique but I do really like this model and I made a walkaround of it if anyone is interested in more photos. I really hope the young smilodon releases soon, I wanted to get some snowy photos with it [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ Jolie

| Eofauna models are really fantastic. I think they have the quality of the best resin models but made of a very dense quality pvc what is an advantage in my point of view. I'd panic if my eofauna straight-tusked elephant was made of resin. ... and they're much more affordable as you mentioned. Let's see if I get a 2nd one for my collection someday. Maybe the deinotherium or the proboscidian announced for this year. I enjoy that all your new models are singing while the deinotherium is trying a new trumpeting style. |

| Thanks to the suggestions of forum members, I got the CBIOV Sichuan takin I love this model very much and I'm glad I was recommended to add it to my collection. I'll have to add it to my Himalayan display I'm not sure if it is made out of resin because it feels heavier and more fragile than usual, but I love the details and pointy horns. | I think this figure is made of pvc. Did your figure arrive with a box? I never made any effort to get it and now I think the prices are noticiably higher. It is very beautiful and uncommon species. |
