Bullyland Glow-in-the-Dark Empty
PostSubject: Bullyland Glow-in-the-Dark   Bullyland Glow-in-the-Dark EmptyFri Nov 18, 2022 7:07 pm

Recently, I was able to find a number of  "Glowing-in-dark" dinosaurs from Bullyland.

In the TAW I only found the following glowing figures:
Overview Spider/Insects: Wolf Spider, Tarantula, Scorpion

Overview Amphibians: Millipede

Since I found some other glowing figures in my collection, I thought it would be a nice topic for the forum. So I looked through all the dealer catalogs from 1984-2000. I didn't find many references though.

I think there will be more figurines:
See the seal and the statement in catalog 94 : "All other Museum Line Styles also available Glow-in-dark." Whatever this is to be interpreted.

I would like to start with the dinosaurs. For comparison I always have the "normal" model (of which there are mostly variants) pictured with.

So I am missing these according to the catalog.

Here are the non-Dinosaur figures:

Also at this point, the missing ones:

And so the wish list has grown again.

For the sake of completeness, the relevant excerpts from the 1994 catalog, the 1994 News brochure, and a Halloween-Poster (date unknown, should be from the 1990s).

Finally, excerpts from the 1994 price list for customers. (Note: 20.00 DM correspond - according to the Internet - today a purchasing power of 15.55 EUR)

I must admit, these make my inner child smile. Wink Not something I would ordinarily collect but what fun models nonetheless!

Since I collect everything from Bullyland, there are also three hummingbirds. I will send you a PM.

Great job gathering finromation about these glowing models. I had no idea Bullyland released so many. I remember when Bullyland was more popular among collectors and it is great to have you here to continue giving your voice to this emblematic brand. Maybe [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] knows more about these??
