Schleich 2024 Wishes and Predictions

With 2024 fast approaching, what do you want to see Schleich make?  Personally, I have been collecting Schleich wildlife figurines for quite some time now, but there's a few species of wildlife I would like to have in my collection.  This is my list of what I want to see Schleich make.  These are mostly species that Schleich hasn't made before, but I think would be popular.

North American Wildlife Species:

1.  Pronghorn Antelope (full family of male, female, and young).  Schleich has never made the Pronghorn.  It's the fastest land animal in North America.
2.  Elk (full family of male, female, and young).  I'm talking about Cervus Canadensis, and not the European Red Deer.  I'm suprised Schleich has yet to make an Elk you find in the Rocky Mountains of the Western US, and Canada.  
3.  Dall Sheep, or Desert Bighorn Sheep (full family).  I unfortunately missed the 3 pack set with the Mountain Goat, Bighorn Sheep and Ibex.  So, I would like to see them remake the Bighorn at some point.
4.  Black Footed Ferret.  
5.  Porcupine.  
6.  Gila Monster

African Wildlife Species:
1.  African Wild Dog (full family)
2.  Sable Antelope
3.  Baboon  (full family)
4.  Honey Badger

South America Wildlife Species
1.  Amazon Pink River Dolphin
2.  Capybara
3.  Jaguarundi

Eurasia:
1. Fallow Deer  (Full Family)

Austrailia/Tazmania
1.  Tazmanian Devil

Dear Schleicher, and others:

Okay, here's my list for 2024:

My bigest wish is more standing people for bayala. By people, I mean elves, centaurs, dwarves, mermaids, satyrs and/or fauns, and dryads. Also, I'd like more bayala accessories too.

Wishes for eldrador: Giant stone dwarf, warrior mermaids, warrior centaurs, and gnome king.

Wishes for wildlife: Flying squirrel, Fox family, new condor.

Wishes for farm: More breeds of rabbits and chickens and goats.

Wishes for Horses: more horses lying down. Perhaps a lying down mare or stallion. Chincoteague pony mare, stallion, and foal. more horses in unusual poses, like rearing, and things like that.

Wishes for dinosaurs: More prehistoric mammals, less dinosaurs with movable jaws. (I understand that the movable jaw concept might be fun for some people, but in my opinion, this sort of thing makes the overall figure more fragile).

More wishes for Bayala: less unicorns, more people.

My wishlist is the same as it is for all companies (and for wildlife documentaries, too): More African antelopes. There are more than 70 (ok, about 20 of them are duikers) and most are being ignored by the big companies, even though they are much more commonly seen by tourists than other species which are abundant in toy collections.

But a next figure from a duiker is also very interesting

Hopefully in 2024 there will be a little more of production relief, so I expect Schleich not to do the same cartoon-ish, boring species of these last five years of nonsense.

I don't have high hopes for their horses, but I would like to see them do a Hackney, maybe a Malwari, and possibly a Dutch draft, and maybe some models that are lying down, rearing, or scratching.

I have no idea what they could do for their horses, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was more braids and cutesy models.

But I have high hopes for a new wildebeest jackal baboons

CollectA and Safari have great pygmy hippo figures but Schleich has never released one.

There is a big difference between a WISH and a PREDICTION.

My WISH is that they made more water-dwelling prehistoric animals, like Basilosaurus or Ambulocetus. I also wish they finally made a Bowhead Whale.

My PREDICTION is that they will make more T-Rex replicas (like if we didn't have too many yet) to please the little boys and more horses to please the little girls.

It may not be as interesting to have two separate discussions on these topics. By combining them, everyone can express their own expectations, whether they are based on guesses or desires.

Well, I learned a long time ago to make the difference between an observation and a desire.

I count all as wishes.
