Schleich 2024 Releases, updated with pictures!

I'll wait to see these in person before I buy any but I will most likely get at least the ibex & armadillo. Interesting that the cape buffalo is black unlike its stock image.

I want to buy an alpine ibex but I can't decide between Schleich and Collecta! Which one you prefer?

If I had to choose only one I would go for the CollectA because IMHO it captures more the soul, the nature of this animal. Maybe I will also add the Schleich because it looks fine too.

I guess they are different subspecies of alpine ibex! As we have spanich ibex, pyrenean ibex, bezoar ibex and etc.

I’d go for the CollectA but I’m most likely getting both and I’ll know for sure when I see them in hand.

Both figures look great to me, without the traditional reviews on forum or watching them in real, it is not possible to be sure which one is the best. If I had to choose one, I'd risk for the CollectA model, it has a pose which displays beautifully and looks slightly more detailed. Since I have already two Schleich Alpine ibexes, none of these represent a priority to me but, i Will seriously check how good is CollectA's to take a final decision.

Well it seems CollectA screw up the neck on theres, it looks weird and wrong when i look at images on Ibex's

Well, Bezoar ibex is a bearded wild goat  and Iberian ibex don't have exactly backwards-curving horns as shown in these models, theirs are more curve out and up so  these species can't match.

This is my plan for now

Mandatory:
- Armadillo, I want them all ;
- Japanese macaque, not impressive but I don't have one yet;
- Bonobo female, I like it and it is a bonobo ;

To think about only if I find them on sale:
- Hawksbill sea turtle, I don't have one yet, need to check;
- African buffalo, I have a good number of them but I like these bulls;
- Ibex, hard to resist to these animals but I don't need it and there's the new CollectA coming;
- Wirehaired Dachshund, need to check photos first;

I will take both ibexes. ^^

Well, I would say, yeah, me too. I wonder if, besides the magic deer and peacock, we'll get any elves for Bayala? I'm also curious as to what the Lava hyena, Ice Rat, Battle cave arena, and Cave of super crystals sets look like. These four are on my searchlist, at least for now. I do hope that Schleich does more with the Bayala mermaids. I have a few of these in my collection already, but as far as people figures goes, I prefer the people who are standing, and not in a riding pose. You see, you can just do more story telling with standing people, than you can with the riding people. Believe me, I speak from experience when I say this. I do hope that the Cave of super crystals has lots of crystals in it. My kingdom definitely needs more treasure.

Hey guys, I was just thinking about the new releases from Schleich, aand I started wondering: "What if they ahave more things planned for 2024?" Now, even though wae don't really know what those things are, well, you see what I'm trying to say? Right? I mean think, what else could they do with bayala? Surely they have something in the works, right? Okay, it's not because of you, I'm just thinking ahead, that's all. Also, when will there be a picture of the magic peacock released? I'm sort of curious as to what that looks like.

Since Schleich does not allow us to share official pictures 3 months prior to the release date of their figures and I don't know the official release date of the Magic Peacock, I'm not sharing here but it can be found everywhere. Maybe this topic should be exclusively dedicated to animal figures and the Fantasy models should be presented in a different topic in its own section.

Well, it seems as though I'll be getting the Schleich Magic peacock after all. Yes Roger, you were right, I probably will like it. I've also put the Night Sky Dragon on my searchlist too. I do hope they come out with more Bayala soon.

Does anyone know anything about the 2024 Schleich Smurfs? I can't find anything about them online. They should begin with item 20845, if they pick up after the last one.

I found this bit of text about a new product-line of 2024:

"From the big screen to the playroom at home: the new product range THE SCHOOL OF MAGICAL ANIMALS will enchant fans of the successful book and film series with six popular individual figurines from September. As always, they will be designed true to the original and authentic in every detail. The range will be launched on time for the premiere of the third THE SCHOOL OF MAGICAL ANIMALS film in the autumn of 2024.

It will feature four beloved creatures from the first two films: Rabbat the Fox, Caspar the Chameleon, Henrietta the Turtle and Juri the Penguin. Additionally, two surprise figurines from the third film will be launched."
