| Some new additions: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Name: Socx Breed: Quarter Pony Gender: Gelding Notes: K, so I know that he is listed as a Quarter horse on Safari's website, but he is so small compared to many of my other stock horses that I figured he would make a nice Quarter Pony instead. His head doesn't even fit a Schleich pony bridle, it's that small. |

It's not the most realistic, but it's cute. I don't like her paint job all that much. I think they were going for a cremello, but made her a older grey instead(one that has fully greyed out and is "white" with no dappling or fleabites).[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Breed: Dartmoor PonyGender: FillyNotes: She's cute. Don't have much else to say. |

| The Dartmor pony seemed leggy to me but checking pictures online they really look like this. It's my favorite of these two. :) |

| Man, it's been awhile. Anyways, thought I'd update this. I'm better at updating the collection catalogue on my website, but I want to keep this one somewhat up to date as well. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gender: Mare Breed: Thoroughbred Notes: This one was released as a Thoroughbred, so that's what she'll be. This is my favorite Stablemate mold, and I love almost any realistic color they do on it(especially pintos). This is such a nice steel grey color, and complements the mold well. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gender: Stallion Breed: Thoroughbred Notes: Another Thoroughbred, but this time a stallion. I also really like this mold, as it has a lot of muscle detailing and reminds me of WIA quite a bit. His color is not my absolute favorite, but it's executed well and does flatter the mold, so I don't mind it too much. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gender: Mare Breed: Dutch Warmblood? Notes: This mold was released as a warmblood in general, but idk if a warmblood in one of the major major breed studbooks(Hanoverian, Trakehner, Dutch Warmblood) can even be dun. So I guess I'll leave her as a Dutch Warmblood for now. Anyways, this mold isn't my favorite, but it's sweet. She almost reminds of a Connemara pony with her windswept mane. Her color is nice, nothing fancy, but a nice solid dun. |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gender: Gelding Breed: Quarter Horse Notes: Okay, so this guy was released as a warmblood(I hate when brands use such generic names), but I decided to make him a Quarter horse. Most warmblood stud books(at least my research) don't allow palomino, so I had to get creative when assigning him a breed). Anyways, I like this mold, it's definitely a cool one for photogrpahy. His paint job is very basic, but it's passable. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gender: Stallion Breed: Lipizzaner Notes: Lipizzaners can be black, so gets to keep his factory assigned breed. I like this mold fine, it's not my favorite, but it's something different, which is always nice to see. His color is super basic, but it's a nice black, not too shiny or too dull. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gender: Mare Breed: Paint Horse Notes: I like this mold, but her color definitely makes her pop. She has such a rich chestnut hue to her coat, and I really like it(some might say that it's too orange, but I don't mind. Some chestnuts in real life can get pretty close to being more "orangey"). |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gender: Mare Breed: Brabant Notes: This particular model has such a deep dark bay color. It's so pretty! This mold is not one of my personal favorites, but the modern paint job makes it pop a lot more(especially the detailing on her face markings, which isn't really visible in the photo I have). [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gender: Stallion Breed: Arabian Notes: I still do not like this mold whatsoever. That being said, I can at least tolerate it in the particular color. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gender: Stallion Breed: Mustang Notes: This mold is kinda cool. It almost looks a stallion who is herding his mares during a stampede or something. Kind cool. Anyways, I really like this paint job(big fan of chestnuts). |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gender: Mare Breed: Paint Horse Notes: This mold is ordinally supposed to be a quarter horse, but since those cannot be pinto, I made her a paint horse, since the two are very similar. I like this coloring on this mold. It's not too flashy, but still eye catching. I also really like this mold in general. It's a fairly accurate representation of a pleasure type western horse. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gender: Mare Breed: Quarter Horse Notes: Another pleasure-type quarter horse. She is a much needed update to the old quarter horse mare, who, while fine, was quite boring. This mare has a incredible details for her size. Her paint job is just meh, and doesn't really flatter the mold, but at leas the mold itself it lovely. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gender: Mare Breed: Quarter Horse Notes: Dang, I I guess I saved all the quarters for last. Anyways, this is the older quarter horse mold. It's nice, but quite boring in my opinion. This paint job does add a little bit of interest to it, but still, quite a plain and boring mold. |

| You've got some wonderful new additions!
I like most of these little stablemates. They just have some sort of charm to them. My favourite is probably the blue roan Cassidy as blue roan is my favourite coat colour and I do like this mould quite a bit. Her foal looks also quite nice. The Warmblood mare always looked like some sort of heavy Warmblood to me but I don't have a breed in mind unfortunately. I really don't know why but I always had the impression that she looks even more powerful than most of their Stock Horse moulds. The walking Thoroughbred is also one of my favourite moulds for some reason and I do like his shiny palomino colour. By the way: you don't need to make a new post after adding every three photos. You can simply make all in one post as there is a simple trick one can use to do so. |

| Yeah, Stablemates are pretty fun to collect(especially since they are so small). The new stock horse mare is a really nice mold, and I really hope they release some other colors on her. Do you mind sharing how to do put more than three images on a post? I've been trying to figure it out, but alas, I cannot seem to find out how to do it. |

| Oh I would love to add some to my collection someday as well. Cassidy is a quite unique sculpt and I definitely wouldn't mind to see more coat colours on her. That's actually quite easy. I hope that I can explain that properly. When you have inserted the pictures already into your post you simply need to remove the links from the field where you put them in to insert them. After that you can put in your other links (again three at one time and then remove the links from the "insert - field" to put more in). I hope that was somewhat understandable. By the way I love your profile pic! It looks very adorable |

| So, I may have bought a new WIA pony... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Name: Hoarfrost Breed: Marwari Gender: Stallion Notes: I wasn't sure about this mold when I saw it online, but it looks so much better in person. The photos online don't do it justice. He is such a majestic stallion. His paint job is alright, not as good as say, Vincenzo, but still pretty nice compared to a lot of other brands. His eyes are very detailed, and I do appreciate that. I like that they gave him a more creamy undertone as opposed to stark white. I feel like that makes him look a bit more alive. |

No problem Definitely agreed! I hope to take my first WIA model out on a little photo session soon. The Marwari is a quite unique mould. That artist has an interesting style (at least what I see with the two WIA moulds). I'm still a little bit on the fence if I like him or not. If I get one though I will head for the liver chestnut sabino as I tend to prefer darker coats. But the dominant white one (or whatever coat colour he is meant to represent) is rather well executed and looks quite handsome as well. |

| Yeah, HorrawStudios definitely has unique sculpting style. A lot of people online didn't like the Marwari very much, and it took me a long time to warm up to him, but now I really like him. He looks really nice next to the Arabian mare on my shelf. |

| So, I finally managed to get my "carpet herd"(models that I played with as a kid) out of storage. Some of these models are in better condition than others, as I got them at varying ages(ranging from 5 to 15). The Palomino Trakehner and Audrey on Streaming Light Set were bought as replacements, as I had those models at one point, but either lost them or gave them away, and I wanted to have them in my collection again.
