| Another gift from fairy Yvette this Lineol polar bear suffered some paint lacks: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] So I took my brushes.. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] .. and a big thank to Yvette who made me the owner of such a beautiful polar bear model! I just hope to have kept its beautifulness with my repaint.. |

| Often I'm not an advocate for repainting this type of figures just because they show some signs of age. But in this case, it's evident that it was in need of a good renewal exercise. Fortunately, it ended up in the right hands and regained all the dignity it deserves. |

I can only completely agree with Roger. It´s so impressive, how the Lineol polar bear has retained its typical character through the restoration. It looks as if the polar bear has not been and still has its original painting. This is the big art of restoring a composition figure in such a way, that the restoration brings back the original beauty of the polar bear without changing its overall appearance. | What an elegant model Alain, and your restoration is superb! I really like the thin lip line around the mouth area. It looks like it had never been touched at all, such is your repaint. How very kind of Yvette - she knew the best hands to put this polar bear in:) |
