| Managed to locate my farm base 4711.Thankfully it has most of the pieces except the little plastic bases that keep the metal fences together. The box it came in has a picture of this cow-I have never seen it in real life,it certainly didn't come with the base!Has anyone ever seen this model or was it just done for the box? |

| what a beautiful cow that is Taylor! I have never seen it either. I wonder if Roger is aware of this one?
I may have the base for those fence parts. I will check. |

I may have the base for those fence parts. I will check. Looks like a repaint of the Jersey Cow? _________________ Small Scale World Airfix Figures Facebook - Hugh Walter eBay - smallscaleworld

| Do you mean the cow mould or the actual paint style used? The mould is what the used in the 70s early 80s and came in black and white, brown and white and also moulded in a tan colour (for Jerseys) I have never seen one though with this much black on it. |

| the mould is the same - as you mentioned BritFarmer, but I think this one has just been painted nearly all black.
Maybe they did this for the farm set base in particular? I don't know?
Roger may know more |

| Never seen a Britains cow that was painted this way. Are you sure it is the original paint? |

| Sorry, I misunderstood. You don't own this cow; it's just a picture on the box. I have no idea, perhaps it's one that was especially painted for the picture. |

| I don't posses this cow and as I said it next came with the set so it would seem it was just done for the photo on the box which is a bit of a bummer as its a really nicely painted cow! |

| Good idea for a repaint. What breed would it be? Just a Friesian or Holstein? |
