A great addition to my growing collection. The newly released wapiti (elk) and Alpine ibex by Collecta.

Both are well proportioned and sculpted and have an interesting dynamic posture which does justice to these animals.

Collecta is second to none when it comes to reproducing ungulates.

They came all the way from Australia (MiniZoo).
At the moment, I don't think they are already available in Europe.

Do you have to pay custom fees ? I stopped buying from Minizoo for that reason.

Yes I had to. Fortunately, not too much. That's the reason why I usually avoid buying online in non-European websites.

They are both fantastic models. CollectA continues improving their figures, delivering poses wich display nicely to very realistic sculpts.

This time impatience and passion prevailed cheers Laughing

Anyway , I will have to be patient to get a pronghorn. I could order a Safari model in the United States, but the shipping fees are too high for just one figurine. And possible additional custom fees. Definitely not worth it.

I really hope that CollectA, Papo or Schleich will release one at some point, maybe next year ?

It is hard to predict when a figure will be released. As alternative to the Safari you only have the Mojö Fun model. Though, considering the recent CollectA releases, focused into North America like the elk, American bison, white-tail, etc., it wouldn't surprise me to see a pronghorn being released during the next years. Actually, CollectA could be the perfect company to do it.

I finally found a Mojö and ordered it. I initially felt that its quality was inferior to Safari's but it will do the trick.while waiting for CollectA or another major brand to release an even more convincing model.

In the meantime , I'm going to take a break from collecting because I blew my budget and I have all the ungulates and cetaceans I need...unless I find a Kaiyodo blue whale still available , which is my quest for the Grail.
