Valais Blacknose Sheep (51194)

I dont know if this belongs here(if not please move)
But the Valais Black nose sheep arrived few days ago, so i wanted to share my opinion and a few Pictures of it!
Sadly im not the best with in hand pictures and i dont have a nice set up or anything right now so im sorry for that

My opinion:
She is a wonderful sheep! Lots of detail in the wool and even the tail and knee patches are correct (the tail patches are only found on ewes). It is also great that she at least has horns (which I miss in Schleich's), which actually means that she is still a very young sheep, as ewes also get big horns. The longer tail is a plus (more sheep models could have it) and she has a very nicely modelled face where you can still see the curl of the wool. She is about the same size as the Schleich black-nosed sheep which is totally fine. I love that she looks like she has a lot of wool on her, which is realistic. Super modelled, the colours are also spot on, if you could bring the ewe to life she would be a pedigree sheep.
Total recommendation could be one of my favourite releases of the year.

I am tempted to get this figure to replace the recent Schleich version. I received the Schleich model free as a review sample for the Animal Toy Blog so part of me is like, why buy something I already have for free. But I like the duller finish here with more texture. Sheep aren't a focus for me, so I'll probably stick with Schleich. But this Papo is marvelous, nonetheless! Thanks for sharing.

That's more than fine your presentation. Papo is doing everything competently these days. I remember when the brand was very inconsistent releasing masterpieces like the "original" lioness and figures that destroyed their reputation like the "original" giraffes among others.
Now they are good making everything, maybe horses are at the moment the weakest releases and strangely they stopped with their wonderful dogs. Wildlife and Farm are absolutely brilliant these days.

Here are both sheep and as you can see the Papo model is a much more detailed model.

It goes the time when Schleich average quality was superior to Papo. Latter Papo releases are now a step forward.
