do you think there are some variants? Last year I got the Hawksbill Sea Turtle, it has a a slightly different color compared to the regular released figure. One is made in Portugal and the other is made in Tunisia.

The Alligator is in different painting, the others I can' t see an important difference

Today I was in my local edeka store, there they had some of the new edeka wildlife animals.

One of them is this new fellow for my collection, he is very big, I couldn't resit buying.

Sadly there was no Atlantic Right Whale in sight, but if I see one you will definitely get a comparison with the old one from 2006.
Their storage shelve was very messy and cashier on the front desk was very unfriendly.

Thats the difference. The quality of schleich has deteriorated considerably.

Which figure do you prefer?

For me it's very difficult to decide, but i really like them together.
It seems if they have always been together.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't have an Atlantic right whale yet in your collection.

Remember Edeka & McDonalds is always made abit cheaper than the originals, both in paint and materials.

At least the new one seems more realistic so it's not too bad.
