A slothbear and a cute, little foal

Yesterday I got a small, great package from Holland

Even if Willy had sent the parcel immediately after we made the deal, I found the waiting long...weekend you know

It was the wonderful slothbear from Hauser-Elastolin.

There was also a cute H-E foal in the parcel, - the production number of the foal is 4506, The production number of the slothbear is 5338.

In Danish they are called læbebjørn, - lip-bear. You can see why

Ah, I almost asked Willy for the bear, it is a very interesting species and in your figures it looks wonderful! :) Well, it is in nice hands!
In Portugal we call it urso-beiçudo! The same has in your language! :)

It is great is is also called a lip-bear in Porrtugese
A much better name, - IMHO ( quote Christiphe ) it does not look like a sloth, does it ?
I wonder why it got that name

In Portuguese it is big lips bear!

What a great figure, that is my favorite bear and I will have at least one on the Indian diorama.

In the Netherlands, we call this bear lippenbeer to, which means lipsbear...
The northern languages are very similar, Danish even more than German or English...
