| I know we've had something like this in the past on LG, but it's fun and we haven't done it on this forum yet. What figurines would you like Papo to make? Here is my wish list: Bongo Giant Eland Caracal Different position animalsPuma standing (not with it's front legs apart) Jaguar lying Tigress lying (I know another tiger ) Female black rhino standing Hippo standing with mouth closed DinosaursBrontosaurus Brachiosaurus

| I'd really like a new Norwegian Fjord because the current one has very tiny and round ears, is very chubby and is cow hocked. I'd love some more rabbits Afghan hound African Hunting dog Bongo Eland Hippo with mouth closed, I agree with you Fox cubs Thylacine and Quagga |

| So...let's play the game Well A BONGO Why ? Because every year everyone here or on LG want a Bongo.. And every year we've got something else Since Papo is still the big cat king : A SNOW LEOPARD ! A CLOUDED LEOPARD ! A MACHAIRODUS or HOMOTHERIUM! ( sorry for the smilodon's fan...) Not a big cat but : A FOSSA ! PAPO is also very good with reptile : A GHARIAL ! About DINOSAURS : My only whish is that PAPO's artists who work so fine on dinos will try to do scientifically accurate models. So much talents and so much unaccuracies, I can't believe it ! LAST but NOT LEAST : My personal choice : No warthog in 2011, it's enough with the Schleich ones. But why not a RED RIVER HOG herd ? they are so colorful, so beautiful who could resist ? | GO TO A ZOO AND WATCH A SEROW RATHER THAN A TROOP OF WESTERN LOWLAND GORILLAS? I CAN TOTALLY APPRECIATE WATCHING A MALE BLACKBUCK CHALLENGE A RIVAL MALE, BUT I WOULD MUCH RATHER PREFER WATCHING A GROUP OF CHEETAHS, RHINOS, OR CHIMPS!

| I don't like chimps, monkeys or apes. I never have so that's why I don't have any models of them. Big cats are ok but I love animals with horns and hooves. So many different species and colours !
I very much doubt that Papo would ever make the models that I mentioned so it's a good thing that I've ordered some clay. I can make them myself :) |

Welcome to the forum "baltimore zoo". I see you'd like Papo to make some big cats in different positions too. |

| THANK YOU FOR WELCOMING ME TO THE FORUM! I REALLY LIKE THE DETAIL THAT THE PAPO ARTISTS BRING TO THEIR FIGURES. I THINK THEIR ANIMALS(ESPECIALLY THE NEWER ANIMALS), ARE MORE REFINED AND ARTISTIC THAN SOME OF THEIR COMPETITORS' ANIMALS! WHEN I FIRST SAW THE LIONESS, AND SAW THAT THEY HAD SCULPTED AND PAINTED THE PAW PADS, I WAS VERY IMPRESSED! SO NOTHING AGAINST HOOF STOCK, I JUST AM A HUGE FAN OF THE BIG CATS, PACHYDERMS(ELEPHANTS, HIPPOS AND RHINOS), GREAT APES, & BEARS. SO FOR ME TWO THINGS ARE VERY IMPORTANT IN MY FIGURES: *1)REALISM (ARTISTIC DETAIL) *2) SCALE (I WANT THM ALL TO BE OF SCALE SO WHEN DISPLAYED THEY LOOK PROPORTIONAL TO EACH OTHER). WOULD ALSO LOVE PAPO TO MAKE A "LION PRIDE SET" WITH A MALE(KING OF THE JUNGLE TYPE-IN A LYING POSITION-HEAD LOOKING UP) AND 2 LIONESSES (IN LYING DOWN POSITION-HEAD'S LOOKING UP), WITH A BASE AND "KOPJE" ROCK FORMATION. WOULD A LION PRIDE SET BE OF INTEREST TO OTHER COLLECTORS?

| THANKS! GLAD TO SEE YOU LIKED MY "LION PRIDE SET" IDEA HKHollinstone! HOW ABOUT SOME NEW TIGERS WITH AN INDIAN TEMPLE/RUINS? I DON'T WANT TO CALL THEM "PLAYSETS"(BECAUSE WE DON'T PLAY WITH THEM, ALTHOUGH KID COLLECTORS MIGHT), TO ME THEY ARE MORE OF A NICE DISPLAY TO SHOW OFF AND COMPLIMENT THE ANIMALS! THEN PAPO COULD MAKE AN ATTACHMENT BASE OF A RIVER AREA WITH GHARIALS TO GO WITH THE INDIAN TEMPLE/RUINS. I'D ALSO LIKE TO SEE SOME NICELY DETAILED ZOO EXHIBIT DISPLAYS MADE WITH PLASTIC(TO LOOK LIKE GLASS PANES), TO PUT ANIMALS BEHIND.

You have some really good ideas, you should write to Papo and suggest them! I'd really love to see Papo make a tiger lying. |

| THANKS! I WISH I COULD WORK FOR PAPO! THEY'RE THE BEST, THEY JUST NEED SOME BETTER IDEAS AND GUIDANCE IN THEIR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT! DO THEY SIT AROUND AT THEIR PRODUCTION MEETING AND SAY "I KNOW LET'S MAKE A BEAVER(NOT THAT IT'S NOT A NICE SCULPTED PIECE)"? YES, A BEAVER, NOW THAT WILL BE A TOP SELLER, NNNNOOOOOTTTTTT! WOULD YOU AS A COLLECTOR RATHER HAVE A BEAVER OR AN AWESOME SIBERIAN TIGER OR A GERENUK ON IT'S HIND LEGS AGAINST AN ACACIA TREE(FOR THOSE HOOFSTOCK LOVERS)? C'MON MAN, WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER WHITE/BLACK SWAN EITHER! IF YOU DO A BIRD, HOW ABOUT A SECRETARY BIRD! I'D ALSO LIKE TO SEE A JAGUAR TOGETHER WITH A MAYAN TEMPLE DISPLAY! HOW ABOUT AN ELEPHANT HERD SET(A BULL WITH TWO FEMALES, EXCEPT THE FEMALE ELEPHANTS ARE ALMOST EXACTLY ALIKE EXCEPT FOR TRUNK POSITION, (SO EASIER TO MAKE MOLDS FOR) AND YOU COULD GET AS MANY AS YOU WANT BECAUSE YOU COULD POSITION THEM DIFFERENTLY TO LOOK LIKE THEY ARE DIFFERENT FIGURES IN A GROUPING? I AM GLAD THEY MADE AN ORANG, EXCEPT IT IS PRETTY SIMILAR TO THE SCHLEICH ORANG(EXCEPT FOR ARM UP). I LIKE THE SAFARI LTD WILDLIFE WONDERS ORANG POSED IN THE "ALL FOURS" POSITION, BECAUSE IT'S MORE ORIGINAL LOOKING AND DIFFERENT! SOMETIMES IT SEEMS THAT THEY(FIGURE COMPANIES)ALL MAKE THE SAME ANIMAL IN THE SAME/SIMILAR POSE INSTEAD OF SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT! AS YOU CAN TELL I'M EXTREMELY PASSIONATE ABOUT THE PAPO LINE, BUT THEY JUST NEED SOME CREATIVE GUIDANCE!

| A Secretary bird would be great And I like your idea about the Lion Pride. They could call them collectors set or presentation sets ? See, if the big cats were in a group together, such as a pride set, I would buy them. But when model shopping my eyes are usually draw to the animals that are on their own or in sets of two. Just because it's cheaper For instance, the Schleich lions, there are about 5 to purchase and I like to get the families at the same time. So a pride set sounds great I'd also like a herd of say Gazelle in different poses. Gazelle don't live in twos in the wild but having them all in the same position, puts me off buying them. I don't like having doubles makes it too expensive. And I agree about them being in scale. That's the trouble I'm having with my dioramas, My Gazelles are half the size of the Giraffes ! Some more I have thought of Pronghorn Peccary Coati Przewalski horse Takin Young Tapir Sloth Bear |
