| Hi friends! The elephants are very large animals! As You could noticed there was too small place for elephants in my old display "around baobab"... So I decided to give my elephants more place! (And what I will doing with asiatic elephants when I,ll buy nice models of Papo, Safari, Collecta?! ) ...The old "cramped" display... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]...More place for African Gigantes! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Well,(In no specific order) I like the Safari ltd WW Asian and African(I just wish the African's trunk was down(Instead of kind of an "in between" position), Britains Bull African and newer Asian, and the Safari wildlife series "Charging" African. I was disappointed that Papo made their current Asian with tusks(Since they made it with a calf, and Asian females don't have external tusks). I can't remember(In the forum) who suggested(Excellent idea) that I(Or other collectors) use the WW elephants for my(other collectors) diorama/set-ups to have some relative scale. I still would like to see *1) Papo elephants in "relative scale" to their big cats and 2) More WW elephants(An African Bull larger than the current elephant and a Bull Asian(With long tusks) larger than current Asian female(Because we all know that the WW is a female, since no tusks). Your display looks good. Have you ever thought of more of a savannah scene for all the Africans as opposed to the green/jungle foliage? |

| Hi, Sergey! The new shelf is definitely much more comfortable for your elephants. And you've got such a herd of them - a real "stado slonov"! _________________ Owners of miniature zoos on shelves, unite! My collector's blog

...Yes my friend it,s already "stado slonov"! And I want "stado slonov" of asiatic elephants. So I,ll buy at once 4 models from Papo (2 adult, 2 baby)... And for sorry new CollectA models 2011 (include asiatic elephants) are absent now in S.-Petersburg.

| Always nice to see your shelfs and collections Sergey! These critters need much room indeed... I still need some new shelfs in one of my vitrines to show you all my elephants, that needs time... Having elephants in the right scale of the other animals in the modern lines is a dream for us all i guess... But the new Asian fighting elephant of Schleich is in the good direction i guess... |
