I hope to make moulds from my Gemsbok antelope

Yes, it would be so great if You could make molds for this couple.
But how lucky is Phil to get these two antelopes! They will look gorgeous on his African diorama!

The lady you referred me to in Poland, the postage was very expensive, so I wasn't able to do it unfortunately. But I met someone in the village near where I live, who has a relative that sculpts. So I emailed her and she helped me get in contact with a professional mould maker. They are all local to where I live, so I really hope they will make the mould and cast for me!

Harriet OMG a new masterpiece Fantastic Phill must be very happy the lucky one!
As you said I hope your mold for the oryx will work well,
I love this beast!

Sergey, the photos you posted are of a blue gnu, a much more common and northern species. The white tailed or black gnu is endangered and found only in the Southern part of the Africa, here is a photo of one from the Wikipedia page on white tailed gnu.

Susanne, if all goes well, I will keep you all updated on the progress of the mould and casting. I will likely meet the chap who makes the moulds, he is also a sculptor and is quite well known - he sculpts for Border Fine Arts.

Great! I think it will be very good solution! And You will concentrate on sculpting only, not on all this mold making problems!
By the way I found also company which makes molds in Poland and I'm going to try them. That would save so much time. Let's see what will happen

Oh that's good! I hope you can get them to make moulds for you too - I hated the thought of me making the moulds and it going wrong or the casting, I feel so much better having it done professionally and knowing it will be perfect.

Yes, I know what You mean, all these wrong trials
But time is also very important, it is just better to concentrate on sculpting and painting than making molds and copies. My husband helps me usually with making mold and copies but he has limited time, too. So I would be really happy if the company which I found will do a good job for us, and I wish You the same with the mold makers which You found in England
