| I never used to be a fan of Papo horses, though had a pair of them in my collection. But the 2011 molds attracted my attention, esp because of their poses, so I decided to get them. And you know, I liked them very much! In spite of some mistakes in morphology, they have great living poses, very dynamical and expressive. Because of that they seem to be more interesting for me than the 2011 Schleich equines. So here are pics of my Papo herd- both the newcomers and those that have been already living on the shelves for some time. A Haflinger Stallion A draft horse. This one is my favourite draft figurine. He reminds me an old horse I used to know several years ago. He was very old by that time- more than 20 years- but rather active and allowed children to ride him- even in pace. He was called Tuman ("Mist") . This figurine is named after him. Lipizanner foals. The right one, lightly customized by Tigzz, entered my collection unexpectedly. I was trying to choose between him and the pinto one (and the same mold), and took the piebald. When I came to the shop the next time, no black sucking foals were left:( I looked for this figurine, but wasn't lucky in finding him. And than, one day (before Christmas) I got a parcel from Tigzz with the Schleich customized Andalusian. And there also was a little bonus)) A Thoroughbred foal. Fail to get his mother every time:( A Percheron mare. I'm amazed with her pose, it's so natural and realistic. A Shire stallion. I suppose he's one of the best Shire horses in this scale I've ever seen. And his pose, once more- it's magnificent! The expression on his face is like he's going to bite you=) Together with a Shire mare. I think the look quite good together;) A Shetland pony foal. Tiny funny thing=) An Icelandic mare. I had no feelings towards her, but then Susanne told many interesting things about this figurine and the reason of such a strange tolt. So I felt like having her in my collection as well:) And her mane and tail are of such an interesting color.. A rearing white stallion. I cannot figure out what breed is it, and I do not like the way he's painted, but this rearing horse seems to be better than the old Papo rearing molds:) |

| I think they're wonderful, I especially like the shire stallion and Percheron - Papo have a definite style to their horses, they are very appealing to look at. Congratulations Daria _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

| Wonderful collection of Papo horses! :) Today I had in my hands for the first time the Icey and it is wonderful! I almost bought it even I don't collect horses! In Papo horses reflects more or less the wild life range. Not very accurate but absolutly fantastic!!! For example, the gnu has some big flaws but is absolutly wonderful and of course my favourite! |

| Thanks for sharing! Dasha.
I particularly like the Icelandic mare and Percheron mare. The pose is great and also the colour is not bad. _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/ken-yeo

I am so happy to see that others share my fascination with Papo-horses. As you say, they have fantastic poses, and the more you look at them, the more you love them, - or that is my experience
You have taken some wonderful pictures. I have been a bit in doubt about the Haflinger, but he surely looks MUCH better than in the catalogue. Papo should make a much better job out of the photoes !!!!
CONGRATULATIONS with your beautyful horses, and thankyou for the great photoes Well, to tell you the truth, I have a very strange feeling about them. I do not like the way they're built, and I believe Papo wild animals are better than horses, but...you are right, the more you look at them the more you love them. Haflinger is a nice horse. I think you'd love him) HKHollinstoneOh yes, the Shire stallion is just amazing. RogerThanks) I think Papo horses have very strong individuality. ken yeoThe Persheron mare is rather interesting. I cannot remember any other grown up horses in such pose. widukindThanks) |

| Great that Yvett helped you finding this retired lovely horse! Some retired Papo horses will turn obscure figures once it is not easy to find information about them as easily as it happens with Schleich. :) Great pictures! |

| Amazing additions Daria I just admire the papo heavy horses - Perchron and draft horses. I am expecting a big package with many papo horses soon As u people mentioned, few Papo equines have a great personality for which I have decided adding them to my collection . Remember Papo is the only brand to have introduced so many foals in stylised poses like turning head towards back , getting up position etc. |

Their poses and personality is simply... amazing :) Congratulations for such a wonderful collection Daria :) _________________ My webside / my collection / my youtube channel / my facebook / my instagram / my twitter

| Got a Papo Rodeo Set from TGF yesterday. It's amazing, and the horse's pose is completely different from the one we can see in Schleich. I've been dreaming of a set with a pinto horse, but it's out of stock now (I'm afraid forever ) So I have to enjoy this bay mustang :) The pose is full of life. The horse itself without a cowboy. The saddle is completely different from the one shown in western kits. |

| It is a WONDERFUL set ! Congratulations - almost too realistic, with the strap round the loin of the poor horse, - well put that is what they do to make them buck Strange that the pinto has become rare so fast Just a couple of years ago, the retired Paops we very easy to find It seems that more and more are collecting them _________________ SUSANNE |

Thank you) I've taken it mostly because of an unusual pose of a horse and the fact that it's completely different from the Schleich's one. Taylcoel
Yes, and this is what I love about Papo horses- their poses. SUSANNEI was a bit surprised with the saddle's form, as I've never seen it in western before. However, I've never seen rodeo on close ups as well Well, you know, this set still can be found in some stores, as well as some horses already being retired, but some of color variations turned out to be HTF in recent years Anyway, in Russia this set was unavailable from the beginning |

| Two newcomers) Clydesdale, a retired one. A really handsome horse, I suppose he's one of the best Clydesdale draft horses ever made :) I call him Boxer (after the draft horse from Orwell's 'Animal Farm'). The other one is an old Friezian stallion. Not as great as the newest horses but also rather funny and full of personality;) |
