Congratulations Minhea! in the first quarter I already bought most of them except for the penguins & Eagle.

For May releases - I am just like you will till end of the year.

A few minutes ago,my father brought home the long awaited(6 days)Schleich package from Mnemosaurus(Lea),a member from DTF who was clearing her collection.Inside,there were 2 very exciting figurines I can gladly add to my collection's shelves:the old peacock and Styracosaurus,both marked with the blue dots on their feet.The peacock is made in Germany!!!
Here are a couple of shots with them,the light isn't great,it's raining outside:





I am very very happy with them.The Styracosaurus has a long history,dating 5 years ago,when I encountered it in a local shop,but it was too expensive for me to buy back then...I never saw him again...
Today,I can finally admire him from the safe heaven of my dino-panorama shelf.I will try to post some photos of the whole exhibit these days.
Both have been added to my Schleich gallery on the blog,if u want to see them there.

I am going to have my eyes checked this morning and I won't be able to see objects which are close to me for a few hours because of the drops.

You made me get interested in dinoes, - i have borrowed 4 (Four) books about them on the library

That dino was one of the last ones to become extinct, I read, - except the birds, that I will still claim are birds, even if their ancestors were Archaeopteryx`ses

Yes Susanne,Styracosaurus was one of the oldest and also first discovered species.
We still have many more to discover,I'm sure of it!

Some had even more bizarre tail than a peacock. For the specimen just below, the scientist are still searching the function of such a tail

Sorry Robert and Kiki but you are wrong! According to the behaviour of modern animals, that kind of tail is to kill prehistoric flies!

Great stuff, Christophe. I can only assume that Rollandgarossaurus is the prehistoric ancestor of Rafael Nadal...just look at the similarities in appearance:





You see, they both have tennis rackets and open mouths. However, in terms of overall appearance and temperament, the Rollandgarossaurus is a dead ringer for this former tennis chUmpion...
