Some collecters have asked to see my antelope collection, it's not great. It is missing Ana's gorgeous bongo and eland and many other rare or old figures.

Nice collection. Did you get the VW gemsbok calf from an eBay lot?

I like! Can you please identify them by species and maker?

Great collection, is that a repainted roe deer at the front. If so it looks great.

From Wikipedia I can see that a gnu is not a gazelle , but a *Alcelaphinae*, but as you show one, I will also include them , and start with my beloved gnu, made by Joan

I have no antelopes in my collection! However there are more than a few real antelope trophy heads hanging all around the store where I work.

Gazelle: britians, schleich, bulyland, I am pretty sure the big gazelle in the back is fisher price
Topi: bullyland
Kudu: schleich

Nyala: roe deer schleich repaint
Dama Gazelle: unknown chinese brand

I actually got the vansishing wildlife oryx at a toy store at a mall near me a couple years ago, I bought two of them but I lost the other one.

Composition gazelles. The bigger ones at the back are 1930's and 1950's Elastolin (the two on the right are repaints). The two smaller beasts are by Tipple-Topple and Lineol.

All are in scale 1:24 and made in 2006.

Now Schleich has bought Noah`s Pals they have NO excuse for not making some more antelopes, I think

Lovely to see so many different models, antelope are obviously everyone's favourites! We're hoping to see a lot more!

Susanne, it's us who are the lucky ones! After so many years of lonely collecting (being told that only soldiers were worth collecting, and that the animals should be thrown away), we have found a Forum where people are actually interested in model animals! This is Paradise!!

The two little ones on the picture with the Kudu are Lesley's attempt to convert ELC plastic Muntjac into a pair of Yellow-backed Duiker.

Ahh, I thought they were duikers

But in my book there are "only" grey duiker, banded duiker and bay duiker .
They are ever so lovely, both yours and the ones in my book (Simon & Schuster`s guide to mammals)

Susanne, did you name your Noah's Pals, or did they come with names? I especially love Nathan and Nicole. Nathan is very handsome!

I have only one antelope, but what an antelope it is! A Polish Bongo!, and i hope to be receiving a Polish Giant Eland soon.
I have one Christmas ornament of an antelope. As with the rest of the ornaments, it will have to wait until i unpack christmas to show it.
