| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Some collecters have asked to see my antelope collection, it's not great. It is missing Ana's gorgeous bongo and eland and many other rare or old figures. |

| Lovely collection And great initiative. From Wikipedia I can see that a gnu is not a gazelle , but a *Alcelaphinae*, but as you show one, I will also include them , and start with my beloved gnu, made by Joan [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And the tsessebes from Bullyland [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]From Britains : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Schleich: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]More later |

| How lovely to see so many beautiful animals again, antelope are some of our special favourites (as are Gnu!) Our Kudu and Gnu herds are already pictured on this Forum. You can see them here - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Composition gazelles. The bigger ones at the back are 1930's and 1950's Elastolin (the two on the right are repaints). The two smaller beasts are by Tipple-Topple and Lineol. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Eland by Elastolin (slightly repainted) and Lineol, with a Lineol Oryx. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Repaints and make-overs, grouped around an old Schleich Kudu bull. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Sable Antelopes; on the left, a Lineol animal, on the right, Lesley's home-made version of what an Elastolin Sable Antelope might have looked like, if they had troubled themselves to make one. | Here are the ones I have from Noah`s pals : The impalas, Ian and Ilona : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Also a limited edition of 20.000 pairs Tha nyalas, Nathan and Nicole : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The nyalas are only made in 10.000 pairs. All are in scale 1:24 and made in 2006. Now Schleich has bought Noah`s Pals they have NO excuse for not making some more antelopes, I think |

| Lovely to see so many different models, antelope are obviously everyone's favourites! We're hoping to see a lot more!
Susanne, it's us who are the lucky ones! After so many years of lonely collecting (being told that only soldiers were worth collecting, and that the animals should be thrown away), we have found a Forum where people are actually interested in model animals! This is Paradise!!
The two little ones on the picture with the Kudu are Lesley's attempt to convert ELC plastic Muntjac into a pair of Yellow-backed Duiker.

| Ahh, I thought they were duikers But in my book there are "only" grey duiker, banded duiker and bay duiker . They are ever so lovely, both yours and the ones in my book (Simon & Schuster`s guide to mammals) And you are so right, this place is Paradise |

| Exquisite! Antelope are so beautiful, i love to see them. Need i even say i am swooning over the Castlerigg herd? Lesley and Sue, we are the lucky people, that you share your lovely collection with us. I would love to see close ups of your pieces, especially the ones made by Lesley. Susanne, did you name your Noah's Pals, or did they come with names? I especially love Nathan and Nicole. Nathan is very handsome! I have only one antelope, but what an antelope it is! A Polish Bongo!, and i hope to be receiving a Polish Giant Eland soon. I have one Christmas ornament of an antelope. As with the rest of the ornaments, it will have to wait until i unpack christmas to show it. But surely there are more antelopes in others' collections!?!?! Come, let's see everyone's antelopes!!! _________________ carolynn
