| Here i'll present my collection of animal ornaments by Slavic Treasures made in resin. Slavic Treasures was an ornament company in 1990s, early 2000s that made beautiful blown glass ornaments in Poland. Later, they introduced a line of resin animal head portraits. I got my "must haves" when they first came out, but about a year ago, i came across a vendor who had almost the complete set, so i was able to almost complete my sets. I don't collect sea life, so i don't have any of those, but they also made beautiful fish and shellfish. I know some people might not like them because they are just heads and seem like trophies, but they were intended to be portraits and if you can learn to see them that way, i hope you'll enjoy them too. I've met the founder of the company and he is a great animal lover and made an entire line of ornaments to help support a wildlife rescue sanctuary. Starting with the Farm series, which was the smallest series and of which i have the fewest: and of course starting with the sheep [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]who ironically is my least favorite of all the resins! those ears! that nose it's pretty dreadful. Fortunately, the rest are much better, the handsome Rooster (chillin' with his buddy the Gray Squirrel) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]hey, where'd my duck go? well, we'll have to get back to him. finishing with one of the absolute best of all the resins, the Texas Longhorn: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ carolynn

| Now, the Woodland Animals: Barn Owl and Pheasant [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Rabbits [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I've always felt the white rabbit and the flop ears should be in the Farm series, but they didn't ask me. Maybe that's why mr gray rabbit is hiding behind the HR Cockatoo. Some cheerful fellows, [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gray Wolf and Grizzly Bear [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and Fox [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]the Wildlife will have to wait a bit longer _________________ carolynn

| Thank you my friends! Yes, Roger, i saved the best for last, just for you! Although i confess to being partial to the pheasant. The grizzly is also very nice, but i couldn't get a good picture of him. I apologize that so many photos are slightly blurry. I tell you, ornaments are the devil to photo once they're on the tree; the lighting is bad enough, especially if it's inside the tree, but then the camera keeps wanting to focus on something nearer - like the tree itself - and the silly things move with the slightest brush against the tree! that darn bear just would not hold still! Now, to the Wildlife. No favorites here - at least half of these are my "favorite" if i'm holding it. I'll have to do this in sections since there are so many and a lot of them refused to cooperate , so i'll have to try again to get their photos. These are in no particular order, but of course, we must start with the sheep, Dall Sheep that is [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.](i want extra points for the Mandrill. i literally had my head in the tree to get him) _________________ carolynn
