That was not my idea! The okapi calf is sweet!
In Portugal we also know a story about a macaque that lost his tail but is better not tell it in Christmas time!

I think you must say what you like to say, even this time... cheers

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I personally think CollectA's Okapi calf is a handsome little chap, or chapess? I've seen pictures of the dotting father, and he's very impressive and I hope to add both to my menagerie. I'm not so concerned about the textured fur detail, as its possible that both these Okapi's have unwittingly stumbled through a thicket hedge backwards while making their escape from a hungry carnivore in the jungles of the Congo - its quite plausible? I already have the Okapi mother and calf by Bullyland, who's colour scheme is far more burnt sienna than CollectA's, which appears more brownish. I also have the Okapi by Schleich, which is also brown and might make a suitable foster mother for the CollectA clan? Sleek, fluffy, orange or brown, an Okapi is an Okapi; unless its a tapir of course...
