News for 2012 !!!!

Thank you. bullyland has a talent to ruin interesting species by poor sculpting and paintwork,
but i think i will go to get the Asiatic black bears to customize the collar a little.
I especially dislike the Python regius colour morph, as i am totally against breeding such variants in herpetoculture and a toy for children leads to a kind of acceptance of such business orientated cruelty.
the Basiliscus plumifrons looks odd.
the good thin about is that there are some three or four shops around here which actually offer a wide range of bullyland models so it won't be a problem to choose nice figurines.

You are right. Bullyland had a serious problem with paintwork on some of their models.
They began making them with paint that was not toxic if small children put the models in their mouth, and also changed the plastic, - it gave a lot of problems.

The later years they seem to have solved it, though.
At least I have not seen any problems with peeling paint the later years

Gosh! I am happy I was not their Product Manager or head of development then

About the sculpturing,- hmmmm, yes, they are not completely naturalistic, but I find them enormously charming, just like the good, old Schleich Classics and bendies

Bullyland also have some references in the market! I'll not talk again in birds and small mamals or even dogs! Is there any other brand making better a roedeer or a caribou?
I'm always saying, all brands have good and bad figures. And sometimes what is better or not is purely a question of taste! :)
I have almost as many Bullyland in my collection than I have Papo!

I agree with you, the sea lion is really weird! Many people don't comment figures from other less popular series! That's the reason why it is nice to present any figure in a different topic as it happened with CollectA and Mojo. Also the cats doesn't look like real cats, but as Susanne says, they remember a little like some Schleich, not realistic but pretty! Mainly the orange is really cute! :)
I think the lemur and toucan look very realistic!

She was in "Farmland" section, but cattle was in "Mountainland" section. But judging from the outfits she and Paul could be from Alps :)

I am very late in this tread, but curious of course!
Well, Bullyland looks playfull as ever, but charming and some good figurines again!
At leat not as dis-appointing as Schleich and Papo for 2012...
I like the Asian black bears, although the collor is a little bit off.
Further nice birds again, the species of the gull is a black-headed gull in winter plumage by the way.
A lot more models for my everlasting wishlist again...
