Willy's Schleich additions...

I do, ido my friend, for a very special reason to of course!

Yesterday i had this lot of 4 Schleich items coming in.
I still missed the latest African elephantcalf, so now i have it back.
This is, because i concentrated on getting older items first...
Further is missed this version of the old standing cow in brown and white, which is back in the collection now to.
And i was able to complete my Schleich chickens again with these 2 items.

All of the Schleich Chickens, Roosters and Chicks so far, finally complete again!

I love the old Schleich fowl, wonderful that you have completed the collection again

Tha little elefant calf is in my opinion a stroke of genious from Schleich, I can`t remember one that is better

And the cow in such perfect condition, - WOW !

Yes Rogerio, the picture is noisy and crowded, but this happens when you are getting a part of Schleich complete again...

The fact that i am selling my farm-animals and horses, does not say that i don't collect Schleich anymore, haha.
I got 3 dogs coming in last week, from which one is out of the farm-series, but hey, he is a dog!
Here they are:


13206 Schleich German Shepherd from the farm-series.


16307 Schleich St.Bernhard light variation.


16333 Schleich German Shepherd.

They are lovely additions Willy I also have the first German shepherd, although the paintwork is slightly different to your's, my one's tongue is really red/pink and the overall figure is more glossy - could mine be an older version?

Congratulations Willy! These dogs are nice! I hope you start selling your foxes from other brands because Sue (but Beedo) told me that foxes are farm animals... and she was right because unless in Portugal they hunt in farms!

Now Rogberto, I did not say that foxes are farm animals...I did say that they like to play with farm animals, especially chickens...and share a snack of them ~ I mean with them.


Willy, when I first saw your title on this thread I thought you had gotten the newest models of dogs...I do prefer the old ones.

I love that old german Sherpheard-dog, he has the real Old Schleich charm
He also comes with a bright red tongue, I don`t know which one is the oldest one, perhaps some of the experts do ?

Great additions, Willy, especially the 13206... I think there are at least three variants, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are many more.

I am happy with my 3 new guys, which i have back in the collection right now...

Like Phil said, i think there are at least 3 versions of the old farm shepherddog to.
But i don't think that the ones with glossy paint are the older ones, but i am not really sure about that...
I only remembering having 2 versions in my former Schleich collection before.
From this St.Bernhard, i had the later darker version.
In the newer German shephard are no real big differences, besides from coming out of Germany or China or so...

I was was several purposes in the city this week, and i couldn't resist 2 of the new Schleich figurines for 2011.
There was not to much, besides the rabbits, grey geese and some horses.
But as i want to collect wildlife, marine-life, cats and dogs only now, or related to that, i made the following choice...


The 2 new items...


14630 Schleich Cape Buffalo.


14646 Schleich Wolverine.

They didn't have the calf of the Cape buffalo, so this will come afterwards, and more of the Schleich wildlife of course, and some cats and rabbits.

... Congrats Willy! I think this wolverine is the best model for present!

Ahah! I also think the wolverine is the best, it is easy to be the best when there is no other in the market! There's an important flaw in this figure but it doesn't matter, I also have the wolverine and I like it! :)

No it's not a cow for some reason Schleich made a bull and calf.

Roger, aren't the legs far too thick to be similar to most wolverine species? When I look at this figurine, I'm not sure if I'm looking at a wolverine or a bear...!

Congratulations, Willy, on getting these figurines... I like the buffalo, but am not sold on the wolverine - but at least someone finally put one on the market.

By the way, just out of curiosity, are you going to purchase the cats and dog activity packs introduced in May? I finally saw them in a store, along with the forestry worker pack, and they are really quite lovely, although I wasn't thrilled when I realized that all four sets will cost me $100 plus sales tax...
