The two lion cubs are AAA Reisler Never heard of it befor. Is it That old I dont think the lioncubs are AAA, they dont have any mark, and they are about half the size of the AAA cubs - Kikimalou wrote:

At least, Willy, Lucky Luke and me have one but never from the same brand The maned wolf is made in China and you can see a beautiful repainted one by Yurumi here I wish some of the big brands would make a maned wolf, think they are beautiful - Kikimalou wrote:
- The Kangaroo is a PRIOR.
The Morning Sun Star is a Bully I guess Never heard of prior eather. I dont think it´s bully, because I´ve scaned every mm of it, and cant find any brand anywere - Kikimalou wrote:

Ha ha, almost guessed that they were something like that - Kikimalou wrote:

| The lion cubs, I have the other cub that goes with them. Mine has it's paw up and is playing. They are a copy of the AAA lion cubs. Less realistic but more solid. The lying down Donkey and Large lying down cow, I have seen them before, or something very similar, and they are actually on my aunties nativity set |

The zebra is an hollowcast plastic REISLER. Maybe it is not very realistic but he was born in 1955 in Denmark, so it is older that any member of this forum... (SPECIALLY KIKIMALOU!) The two lion cubs are AAA
W:Reisler from Denmark is very hard to get, specially in good condition, maybe more in the Scandinavian countries... Here is a link to the site of a Danish collector. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I have those lioncubs too, they really look like AAA, often they are only marked with China under them.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] The wild boar is from a Chinese company which produce animal figurines and sell them to different imports companies. At least, Willy, Lucky Luke and me have one but never from the same brand
W:I don't have the wild boar yet, but for the rest Kiki is correct, it is made in China, and sold under different brands around here.
The maned wolf is made in China and you can see a beautiful repainted one by Yurumi here : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I don't know anything about the reindeer but I would like to see closer pics
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] The Kangaroo is a PRIOR. The Morning Sun Star is a Bully I guess
W:PRIOR is from Hong-Kong in the 1970's, they made a lot of Britains copies, although in a smaller scale. The morningstar is Bully indeed, i traded it with another collector some months ago. The little white dog in the middle and the little jumping goat on the right under are Reisler too.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Again, the four monkeys are Danish REISLER from the 1950's
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] They are JEAN Höfler (W-GERMANY) figures from the 1960's and 70's. They were bonus with several products. In France they were goodies of the "Heudebert" breakfast rusk
W:When marked with W.Germany they are from Jean Höffler indeed, here in Holland you got them with products of the Dutch supermarket "De Gruyter"(which doesn't exist anymore) , and they are marked with that then, instead of W.Germany. They come painted and un-painted, and in different colours sometimes.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] These are HAUSSER ELASTOLIN from the 1970's.
W:Yes, indeed, they came in 2 scales, 54mm and 70 mm, the plastic feels kind of soft in your fingers, and they are handpainted, be carefull, the paint scrubs off easily. The lightbrown horse is somewhat bigger then the 54mm(1:32) figurines. I have them too. The Bactrian camel is in the 70mm scale.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] All REISLER except the white horse which is HAUSSER-ELASTOLIN and the central squirell.
W:I have this horse too, that is correct, Hausser Elastolin, they were made in several colours, like most of the horses, and the cows too.(54mm)
You can find the H-E squirrel in Kiki's and my collection, like more of the models shown here(see the link under my treads) The brown horse is a copy of the Hausser Elastolin model.(maybe Reisler too?) The dark pony next to the squirrels is Reisler again.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] The sealion is a REISLER
W:I only recognize the lying brown calf, it is Reisler too. The donkey, sheep and cow(ox) are from a Christmas stall, but i don't know which brand.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] The two smaller elephants are HAUSSER ELASTOLIN The horse is REISLER.
The little lion is from a Corgi Toy set, "Lions of Longleat" from the 1960's. See here. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] These are all marked with Germany under them, nothing else Maybe they are made in Germany ?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] This little zebra is about 10cm long and is pretty heavy. dont realy know what it´s made of, but it feels kinda like the same material as the old elastolin It is a composition animal. It is not a LINEOL but I suspect it is an old HAUSSER ELASTOLIN. Any logo ?
W:When it isn't a Hausser Elastolin, maybe Tipple Topple from Austria or so. By the way, the composition models are not hollow most of the time, but the weight is low, because they are made from sawdust mixed with glue, and a metall-frame inside sometimes(not always).
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] HAUSSER-ELASTOLIN composition figurines. I'm not sure for the tiger cub. Great batch !
W:I have the tigercub too from my friend Kiki, but which brand??
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] The little animal in the tree has a mark, so that one I know (lineol). the other once, no clue It is a LINEOL pine marder from 1938 to 1960, you are right ! You can see mine on my website here : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] The small Kangaroo is a HAUSSER ELASTOLIN Lilliput. The lions pair are REISLER.
W:I only recognise the pine-marder as Lineol, because i made a bid on this model this week on e-bay. I have the Reisler lioness myself, the male is correct too.
I hope it help you W:Sorry i couldn't be more helpfull, Kiki did the most already. Sometimes it is very hard to find out where a model came from, and made by which company. You have to be lucky to find a collector who owns them too, and knows which brand it is... By the way, the pink pelican could be an older raw un-painted Bullyland model, but it almost looks like the Schleich pelican, but i am pretty sure, that they never used colours like this for their raw models. |

Than i see other makers and i think i must have them, and i buy them devoid before intended them. My last undesigned are Colorata, Kabaya and NewRay. So i think my collection will never end.
