| Thank you to you all for your nice comments! Yeah, in more than 40 years of collecting comes something together, but i specially bought a lot in the last 12 years or so, then the expanding begun... Of course everybody could see, that the tapirs are together with the hippo's, i forgot to mention that. Soon i will post pics of my small and big cats, marsupials, little predators, bears, wild canines, fish, insectivores, dolphins and whales, other marine-life, rhino's, elephants and wild pigs. Maybe i forget something, but we will see. Big parts of those are in boxes right now, as i just don't have room in vitrines right now. Now i will try to answer your questions about some models: Andreas: The hanging monkee is a whitenose meercat or guenon monkee in my opinion, it is from a ELC set with an orang utang with baby, a chimp and 2 wildlife photographers(Robert the elephantman did send me that a few years ago on request) The small gibbon with trunk in his hands is from the Albert Heijn WWF Supermarket series. The bird in front of the Starlux Goliath heron is a bittern from the Hausser Elastolin series. The owl is a Eurasian eagleowl(uhu) from the same series if you mean the black one... Or do you mean the both barnowls? The left one is Albert Heijn WWF series to, the right one is a Schleich mini. The salamanders and yellow snake are Kaiyodo. The Ryuku Kingfisher is by Kaiyodo to, indeed a puzzle animal. If you have more questions, just copy the picture and make crosses on them, or an arrow, that is easier for me... Vivien: If you mean the biggest pointer, he is from Bullyland(the exact same mould as the Dalmation), the one in front of that is made by Timpo Toys in the 1950's, he is metall, and the smallest pointer is made by Starlux. Rogerio: Yeah, sometimes crocs and macaques do very well together! And since today, we can add the next birdies and fishies to the collection to! | Great to see so much of your collection Willy. You have so many different brands and put them all together for display so nicely. Thank you for sharing them with us all. _________________ Tim :) ToyAnimal.info - The Toy Animal Collecting Wiki Animoblog Animobil.info Playmobil Animals

- Really huge and fantastic museum-size collection, Willy!!!
I like to know more details about some figures so here are my questions: Which one (brand) is the small silver reindeer in front of the Nayab reindeer? Which one (brand) is the brown grazing non-painted reindeer left from the Hausser fallow deer? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Which one (brand) is the brown eared owl on the base near the Nayab owl? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] The grey reindeer is a Preiser Elastolin model Jarda, but was made before by Hausser Elastolin to, in softer and hardplastic. The brown reindeers in front are Manurba from Germany from the 1950's and 1960's. The brown owl is the second version of the Bullyand long-eared owl. |

Thank you very much Tim! I know you have a very big collection to, and i would love to see your displays! How anyone displays a collection is always the question. For now, i decided to put the species and animal-families together as far as possible. As you saw on the newcomers, it is frustrating to take pictures of the collection sometimes, as it can change day by day... |

Can you tell me what are those yellow giraffes? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Those are Domplast or Heinerle indeed, hard to tell, as there is no catalogue available from that time, i am still searching for that. They are from the 1950's and 1960's, made in Germany. - SeanieP wrote:

| What amazing collections WOW! WOW! It is too much to take in in a first look ! I will have to come back again and again to look closer at them...but one elefant catches my eye. The medium-sized white one. 3rd row from the front, almost in the middle. What brand is he, please ? Great, fantastic pictures, Willy. PS : I only wished you would make them a fraction less wide. 800 pixels fits the standard of the forum, and I won`t have to scroll sideways to read But never mind. Perhaps it is only me PPS, - and now you entered even MORe pictures |

| Thank you Susanne and Andreas! The size of my pics is 960x720 pix, which should be small good for the forum actually... I have lots of space left on my 19 inch screen, about 12-15 cm... I have 3 white elephants. The 2 next to eachother are Reindorf in the back(a brand of chocolade or coffee from the 1950's i guess...), and the Linde model in front of it. The other is there in grey to, presents from Christophe, in composition, from which we both don't know what the brand is, but probally Austrian, or maybe German. |
