S-Point : the near fatal adventure of Schleich.

Sorry, these are not model animals, but they ARE from Schleich

Perhaps they don`t really belong here in the forum, but I am so happy to have won them, that I just have to show them to you, my friends.
Also, I would very much like to learn more about them, perhaps some of our Schleich-experts can help ?

I got an aeroplane and a sportscar + 3 brightly coloured cars and some spare parts in a heavy, solid metal box.

Here are the cars.

Jeep

Volkswagen Sport, isn`t it ?

Sportscar, I know 0 about cars, could it resemble some race-car perhaps?

This "loose" car looks like the other one, but different colours

There is room for one more car ( to the right), but the aeroplane is too large

WoW! You found a really treasure Big congrats i saw these cars just for the first time, so i cant tell anything about them... did maybe come a instruction-paper with the suitcase?

No, there was no instruction in the box.
It doesn`t say anything on the outside either, it is white excpt for the logo

hmm, so its just a normal treasure, no information where it comes from what it exactly is btw: your little white friend fits perfectly to the cars, like he would be waiting for somebody for taking a ride together

I think it must be from the 80ties.
At this time Schleich sold something like that.

I suppose the cars don't intend to represent any specific car but only a kind of car.
Of course the 2 last are race cars! :)
The colours remember me the Fiat from Noddy but that's another vehicle!

I think they are rare, I have only seen them in Schleich `s 75-year anniversary-book .

Congratulations Susanne. I have some of the cars and I believe the airplane. Mine did not have the case that yours has. I do have one that came in a box. Great additions. The case is awesome. I will try to find them and take some photos for you to see. I am not sure on the history of them though. I just thought they were neat.

It seems that Schleich sold the product line, and they are now called mic-o-mic

And then suddenly a thought struck me Auch !!!

Yes...I remebered right.
I do have some of the little figures that fit to this product line
Packed in a box between some classics I found these :

The red elefants are marked Schleich 86. The others don`t have a mark

I would say, that mic-o-mic produced in the past for Schleich and then later for themselves.
As you know, many manufactures produced Schleich articles.
ARI, Safari LTD, Maja and Borges, AAA, Bullyland ....

I don`t think so.
If you look in the round book ( "Anywhere`s a playground" from the 75 years jubilee ) page 71, it says that Schleich invested several million D-mark in the production of this new line.
My German isn`t very good, but doesn`t it also say that the product was invented by Friedrich Schleich ?

The products that Schleich sold from other manufacturers weren`t marked Schleich either

The Idea came from Schleich.
But produced from other.
Like the Farmer figurines 13412, 13413... from the manufacture ARI.
Ore the Coralle fishes from Maya and Borges. They are all marked Schleich.
They all produced fore some years for Schleich and then they produced the same figurines without the marking Schleich in their own names.
