Animals from VEB Plaho

Here is my little collection of VEB Plaho animals. I am not 100% sure, if they are all from Plaho.
But members like Plahotiere or Andreas can certainly say more about them.
I keep them all in boxes, because my shelves are full. Please enjoy the pictures.

More and even more I'm learning to love this vintage stuff! Many Britains friends! I see some of them are a little large to 1:32 scale thanks to your comparison figures! :)
I really enjoy a lot the picture of the baboons! They look happy and I'm sure the baby is seeing the vitrine of a toys shop!
Rhesus macaques are also very nice! Many great poses and ideas from Veb Plaho developers! :)

By the way, the Bully stag is wonderful!

I really like the VEB Plaho figures.

I LOVE these old Plaho-models.
They are full of charm and history and have the "life" I value so high in a model

The little giraffe to the right isn`t Plaho, I don`t think they made more than one giraffe.
The black panther to the left isn`t plaho either, I think, but he is very nice
But then...I am not the expert at all

Yes, Susaane is right, the little giraffe and the black panther are not VEB Plaho. Also think the first polar bear and the second brown bear. But here i am not sure, because he looks really like VEB Plaho, but the head position is wrong.

Yes the Plaho models are really nice and usually nicely made and in interesting positions.I have a nice collection of them but got them under the name Marolin.
The small giraffe is a made in china/hong kong copy and the same can be said for the small Black Panther on the right with its paw raised.
The brown bear on the stand on the right I think is Bullyland as I have that model as well.

BTW I don't think I've ever seen that elk (?) from Bulllyland before, he's lovely! how big is he?

Susan, Andrew and Effelderboy, I also think that the giraffe and the Jaguars are not made by Plaho.

Sue: I knew, that the company Marolin Richard Mahr /(VEB Plaho) produces some of the models again since a few years, not alle chacraters, but also some several other models. On the homepage from these company you can also buy some animals: www.marolin.de

Taos: Yes, the bear is from Bullyland, but he only shows the size of the Plaho animals.
Effelderboy: Are the chickens and the ducks both by Effelder ?
