| I'm so glad my penguin craziness had some influence on you. I've been building it for a long time with so many brands and our Kiki gave me a Colorata set and showed me how to do it easier. Though, building slowly is also fun. I was also trying to collect sharks in small size because they're not first priority to me but they're to small for my poor sight. Now I'm not collecting actively sharks but if I restart, I may go to standard sized figures. Oh, I love your Kinder croc. |

| Thank you everybody [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Yes, buying the whole set of Colorata would be easier...but with shipping costs the set would be very expensive and I´m still happy with some of the Safari toob models, too. And as you said, building slowly and "hunting" for models to complete a collection is nice, too ^^ |

| Big News for today First of all, I wanted to thank Cody, who gave me for the third time the chance to catch a lot of animals from my wishlist. Thank you so much [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] !!! Some of the last PV fishes and reptiles from my list and the last Colorata frogs that I needed [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I read about the anthropod feaver that some users got - the some for me So here are the last Wing Mau beetles that I needed, some K+M, Club Earth and PV [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]As for the insects, not really a priority for my collection, but I the moment I saw those beautiful PV Mini seashells, I thought they would be a nice update. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Last but not least, I got some of the rare prehistoric amphibians and sealife from PV. Yes, I´m not into those figures as much as other people, but Cody gave me the chance and I took it to add some really rare figures to my collection. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Beside the purchase with Cody, I wanted to add some newer models from the modern brands. I added some new species for my collection, but updated some figures with "better" renditions. I bought them from Spielzeug-Günstig.de Most of the following models are only updates for my collection. The Nyala replaced the Noah´s Pals that I traded, the deers, bisons, elephant and tapir all are updates and I´m in love with two new breeds from Schleich [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]As I already wrote, I got influenced by blaine and some other anthropoda collectors, too. So I added some of the beautiful Papo models. Yes, they´re a little bit to big for my taste, but wow, they are so detailed and beautiful and really must haves! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Even as beautiful are the wonderful birds from Papo! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]As for the PV prehistoric models, I took the choice to add more models of extinct species to my collection, but to save room, only in miniature toob size. Here a toob from Safari - a lot of new species, however not as good as the CollectA miniatures f.ex. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Finally some more updates. I´m surprised that the Southland Replica platypus is so small! And that the horned lizard from Papo is so big! ^^ However, the Papo Flying squirrel is so perfect! Perfect size, perfect species choice and such a beautiful model! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Oh Blaine brought the arthropod plague to our village... I have never been more enthusiastic about being "ill" with it! Congratulations on all! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | So many different subjects. Such cool diversity. About the Southlands platypus it is as perfectly sized as the brand could do. Actually, it is slightly large to the range because Southlands models are mostly 1:15 scale and the platypus, being such a small creature, needed to be replicated at 1:12 scale. |

| Thank you everybody And yes, I´m very happy and wanted to thank Cody again :) No problem [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , so I´ve still something to hunt [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] That´s very interesting :) and I think it´s a wonderful model, even that it´s so small. I like the size, but compared for example to the Papo horned Lizard in this photo, I wished this model would be smaller, too. But nevertheless, I think this platypus is the best model on the market :) |

| For some moments it was like watching my own collection. I do really own or owned most of these. I don't have some of the K&M Garden tube anymore and I also don't have the Schleich pygmy hedgehog. Beatrice loves to surprise us, she is always so generous. You can use TAW to identify your Nayab. it is not perfect but that's a page with years of effort and dedication so I believe most of the figures are as correctly identified as possible. Remember these molds are sometimes used to represent different species.

| Welcome back ^^ Longer no updates and now I was for 6 weeks travelling trough west Canada - so it´s time for some news :) Forget to post this newcomers before my trip. Bought again some animal models in the shop of our forum friend Andreas :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]In Canada, I saw mostly Schleich, Papo and Safari models. However at the Great Vancouver Zoo, there was a basket where you could grab K&M and Safai toob models. Sadly, there were no older models, but found these new critters for my collection :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Last newcomers for 2023, mostly Papo :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Beside those figures, I added the CollectA sea animals toob to get some smaller whale and shark models to replace bigger figurines. The others will be up for sale or trade. |
