When your father's a collector too there's no wonder you have sth on your shelves apart from the things you "specialize" on:)
I got the first carriage in early 90s as a Birthday present from my father. It was so tiny, and so beautiful. And since then at times I got one for some holiday)
This collection isn't that big, but I love it not less than all my Breyers-Stones-Schleich-etc.

The beer vagon. I got it after having seen a pair of Finn horses carrying a Koff vagon in Kotka, Finland. I was so inpressed that my father gave it to me on NY.

Lovely! Preiser has some wonderful models, it's too bad they have so few in larger scales! (Tinies are great and all, but so hard to repaint.)

Oh yes yes yes! These are from preiser's exclusive series, the regular models are a bit plainer. I have a box of cattle and they're wonderfully detailed, but just a flat brown - not even their eyes are painted.
Their people models are great too, and amazingly varied - sumo wrestlers, yodelers, homeless folks, even the pope!

You are right, Susanne. I just spent 45 minutes just looking at scales 1:22-1:25. I do not collect them but the scale size 1:25 Mountain Goat is beautiful. I cannot get anymore girraffes though I was tempted on that site!!!

Very very small, really 1:120 is too small for me.

They are really small, Roger, you're right. However, once you started to collect them it's really hard to stop:) There's something very special about them:)
