NAYAB Toucan ?

made of hard plastic (looks flexible but is not). no brand or year or anything written.
any info welcome :)

Norra, i think it is made by Nayab. The only what i dont know, is why hard plastik. My Nayab Toucan is softer in the material.

Nayab figures are used for many other brands and is not hard to find different plastics and mainly different paintings! Maybe it explains the diferences! :)

They sure do look very similar. But the material and painting seem to be different.
Maybe mine is a copy.

But how can we tell if something is an original Nayab or a copy of them?

I cant say it is not a copy, but a copy from a Nayab model? I think more is a older model?
Nayab sells under or produce for different names or brands. So are the Zoolandia, different Wild Republic (the boxes) and more by Nayab.

I think it is not easy! I'm not even sure if my red fox is an original Nayab! I suppose it is once it is sold under that name. It is not marked while the white one says Made in China! Maybe Jumpinglemurs can help you here? :)

Does others have variations of Nayab models ?

This subject is much more complex than it looks! In Portugal they are sold under the names of the sets and distributed by Atosa (Spain)! But, I think not all figures of these "Portuguese" sets are from Nayab moulds! Horses look Schleich little replicas and dogs maybe copies from other brands. We can also see 2 different sheep or shephard dogs!
Curious also that in this picture you can see how is the fox sold under name Zoolandia! That's a Martin's picture!
